    doctors annoying me

so im kinda getting screwed around by my docs. i was on trt for about a year, doc wanted me to come off because i was young and wanted to see if my testes would restart..with no pct what so ever . carry on a few month after multiple bloods i have low as fuk test lvls, no sperm count, very lethargic etc. now im passed to another endo who wants me to wait another 10 weeks with no libido, no test, no energy for more bloods.

these are meant to be specialist in their field but sound clueless. they both disagree with using hcg whilst on trt and only people who use steroids illegally do that after i told them its a common practice . they dont want me on trt it if i ever want kids but im at the stage were its really effecting me mentally not just physically. i cant just go doc shopping so im kinda pissed. just venting

Very litle info to go on here Vetek, I know your just venting, but a clinic may be your quickest fix. Dont quite understand how you would be yanked off after a full year unless there was a problem???

Dude, go see a fertility urologist. I know you are thinking 'what are they going to do', but those guys know how to get your levels back up. Mine wrote me script for Clomid right off the bat!

OP had been on TRT for a year. Using Clomid at this point would be like farting in the wind. If OP has insurance, it may be worthwhile to find another doc in your network. Bring along all your old BW & Scripts to plead your case. A real TRT specialist will likely understand your predicament and put you back on...

thanks for the replies. its just i dont see how these guys can put me on, take me off with no pct and expect me to return to normal test levels, tell me hcg is only used illegally, ofcourse i knew they'd drop right down and this is just frustrating. i have a legit problem with my body and its not producing test properly , something with my pituitary gland. ive had scans, no tumors or anything but its alot smaller than a normal one

Unfortunately, your Doctors were obviously lacking in the knowledge department. You know what is wrong. Now it's time for you to take control of your treatment. Seems overwhelming I know, but you need to get out there & find the right doctors. They are out there, you just need to do the foot-work...

find a doc that has a normal practice but also is interested in hormones. There are lot's of docs like that now. they will suit you better than an endo that is not interested in trt. If they are not interested in it then they will be clueless....like your doc.

Take a look at the Finding a TRT Physician Sticky and see if it helps. Several links in there regarding finding a good doctor. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

You could ask you're "pharmacist" for a HRT DR. recommendation?

there are avenues you can pursue... basically you need to find a male hormone specialist... not a diabetes specialist!

too many people mistakenly think an endo SHOULD know about male trt, but they are inundated with diabetes and thyroid problems. they often have very little training in male trt. it is what it is.

That's what is so frustrating with these doctors who think they know trt but don't know crap! I wish they cared about how their actions really screw with our whole lives. Don't lose hope though there are good docs out there, like the other guys said check out the finding a trt doc sticky and remember you're the customer here shop for the doctor who knows his/her stuff don't settle like I and so many others did for so long. Good luck man!
