    My protocol

I thought I would share my protocol as it might help others. I have been on TRT for about 8 months and "feel" dialed in now. I am not due for blood for awhile to tell my numbers. My doctor has let me adjust as needed. My chronic fatigue is gone, my strength keeps improving, my libido is off the charts and I have lost a pant size without dieting. The biggest change was when I increased my HCG dose. My doctor had me on 2 shots a week of 250 IU for a total of 500. I increased to 700 total and what a difference.

    Thursday 120 mg Test-C
    Saturday .25 Anastrozole
    Tuesday 350 IU HCG
    Wednesday 350 IU HCG / .25 Anastrozole

I have not felt this good since my teens. My wife was originally against all this as she viewed it as "steroids ." We have educated ourselves with the the help of this board and she says she will never let me go back.

    My stats:
    41 years old
    6' / 207lbs
    Approximately 16 - 18% bf

Have you experienced any ups and downs on only pinning once a week cyp? I just recently switched over to 2x a week since that is what the vets recommended. Glad you are feeling it, we are all trying to get dialed in.
Did your doctor prescribe everything you are on? Is it a wellness clinic or a GP?

I have become pretty in tune with my hormones with a bit of experimentation. I do not like to pin the test. The HCG is cake. I am using Crisler's suggested protocol of the once a week pin. That is, use HCG the two days prior to the test pin. The idea is that as the test is going down, the HCG picks it back up. I only notice a "slight" level of fatigue before the HCG starts up. It is something I am certainly willing to live with to only have to pin once a week.

My doctor prescribed everything. He is a specialist in another field but sees people for TRT (not a clinic). He is on a similar protocol. My insurance covers the test and AI. The HCG is not covered.

I'd be interested to know what your E2 looks like.

I am too. I was originally taking .5 of the anastrozole e3d. I did not feel right and from reading here, thought I might be crashing my E2. I then tried .25 e3d. I eventually felt better. I then decided to time the AI dose with .25 twice a week. I have been on this protocol for almost 4 weeks now. I will wait for blood before altering anything at this point.

I like your protocol IF you are the kind of guy who doesn't like sticking himself with needles.

The one thing about Crisler's protocol I sort of have issue with is the back to back days of hCG . Serum levels peak then wade and peak then wade...the normal healthy male body just doesn't act like that in a natural state.

I like smaller more frequent doses of hCG like EOD or Monday, Wednesday and Friday...this way serum levels stay consistent, natural production (assuming Secondary Hypo) is more consistent and feeling of well being is more consistent plus you're not banging your balls hard with two larger doses on back to back days.

Keep an eye on your E2; your AI dose is somewhat low relative to your protocol...just keep an eye out for neg signs.

Glade things are working out well for you Leroy!

I value your input gd. I am secondary. I don't mind the hcg shots at all. I am using 23g 1.5 for glutes. I tried 25g but it took forever to draw and shoot. Would you mind suggesting dosing for once a week test pin? My doc suggesting pinning on Thursday so that I peaked over the weekend. Would you suggest:

    Mon - hcg ? iu's
    Wed - hcg ? iu's
    Thurs - Test-c 120mg
    Fri - hcg ? iu's

    How about the AI?

AI is dependent on BW Leroy, anything I say is just a guess.

I personally like 250iu of hCG EOD. Small doses and one week 4 injections the other 3 injections...

Leroy, glad you're seeing good results!!

You mentioned the 25g taking too long to "draw" and shoot ... Always draw with a different needle, 18g or 20g will load it in seconds, and 25g will release it at a steady pace, which is good for IM injections.

Also, I've been able to get test enanthate from my clinic with vials at 300mg/ml. Not sure if that's available on your end, but if so it could be one way to draw and pin faster (less oil, same dose).
