When I switch from gel to injections my doctor asked me if I wanted to use test propionate or cyprionate. He believed propionate had greater anabolic effects. Ultimately, he said lets start with with cyprionate but I assume can switch to propionate if I wish. I know propionate has a two day half life so you need to do injections every other day or so. I understand propionate may cause less bloating.

My first doc had no clue the difference between prop and cyp, he was going to let me choose which one I wanted, but yet my injection protocol was 1 inject a week. I'd like to blast with prop, but i can get cyp easily.
very little difference. I use them interchangeably with same injection schedule
i have never heard of one person give props to prop over cyp
Is test prop not as thick as cyp so may be better for SQ injection?

Prop Adv. are quick onset as well as excretion with more Test per mg because of the lower molecular weight of prop ester. Also some say less bloating and other sides. But I agree with the consensus that it has no place in TRT as you are only trying to raise and stabalize levels wich can be done with longer ester with less pinning.
