Are symptoms a good indicator that TRT is working?

Apart from BW of course, can symptom's such as acne and shrunken testes be taken as signs that the extra test taken is working, do these symptoms stay throughout the course of TRT or is it just for the first couple of weeks?

Edmundo, you have been around long enough to know shrinkage offset with HcG. The acne is def a sign of increase in Tes, will it go away IDK. Mine is never too bad, comes and goes, if its on your back and shoulders I find a 10% benziol wash from walmart/walgreens does a great job reducing it. Also, Sunlight does wonders for me.

Lastly is it working???? Dont think the syptoms are an indicator of if its working, just that its present.

    Be well.

Well its just I found when I was feeling the benefits of TRT I was also experiencing the acne and the shrunken testes, haven't gotten around to using HCG just yet, so was just wondering if other guys continue to experience the acne.

for me and many others, acne was worse at the start. probably because you're in hormonal flux and then you even out.

shrunken testes to a degree should be expected, but it doesn't take a lot to get this side effect. all you need to do is shut down the pathway in your brain that tells your balls to make testosterone. this can happen on a smaller dose.

Symptoms should always be an important consideration, whether as a need to start TRT, or if it is working well for you. The bloodwork sort of confirms the symptoms if you will. I have a bit of acne that comes and goes. It isn't a big deal usually. I do some hCG, so shrinkage is not much of a problem for me. Before getting on hCG, there was some shrinkage present.

The better question is...are you feeling better? Libido, energy, workouts, etc.

that's true too. symptoms are important because MOST of us I believe are on trt to improve very subjective things like well being.

My acne is very minor compared to when I first started. One thing I found for me is that the acne was much better when I got my E2 levels down into the 20s. Are you taking an AI? When is your next bloodwork and are you testing for E2?
