TRT levels for young men on TRT.

I'm 25 years old. It's obvious from my blood word and physiology that I have never had normal testosterone levels . Going on treatment a few months ago was like starting puberty.
I have had one doctor suggest to me that he would like to see my Test levels on the very top of the range, if not slightly above, because of my age and medical history. I also feel it may be beneficial for me to have a higher total and free test levels for a while to help in my development.
I just wanted to make a post the get some input on this. I've been researching, very few TRT studies are based on men in their early/mid 20s. What do you guys think?

Trt should optimize test levels (free) for a 21 year old. Regardless your actual age.

what do you mean by "was like starting puberty"? (if you don't mind me asking?)

Need more details on your story, symptoms, history.

You dont sound like the typical TRT patient from the looks of it...

Post your Blood Work with ranges for analysis please. Include DHT if you have it pre-trt also.

I can't post links, but search "Assessing Normal Testosterone Levels " in google and hit the first link that comes up. It will give you usual ranges for men by age. That is probably a good place to start.

Here is a link to my original post. I posted a new thread because I'm seeing more and more young men needing TRT. I was interested in insight to this specific subject to better understand YOUNG TRT, not just how it pertains to me.
    http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...ew-TRT-patient

I'm getting blood work done this coming week, will post in the tread above.

Since every one is asking. I never really matured physically(either did my grand father, father, or brother). Little facial and body hair, lots of baby fat, high pitched voice, no muscle, very low libido, teen gyno, depression since i was 15 or so, the list goes on and on. Never new TRT was an option for medical treatment until recent years. I waited until I was 25 just to make sure i wasn't a late bloomer. In just a few months of TRT i've had a BUNCH of hair growth, muscle tone, voice changed, stronger libido, and most importantly my emotional state - I feel like i'm alive for the first time and love it! Just in case your wondering, I did develop sexually(early teens). I have an average penis size and testes. In high school everyone around me changed physically. Other than growing taller I look the same as when i was a freshmen. I understand teenagers can have test levels well above 1000 which aids in their transformation. Since ive never experienced this, I would like to.

Mrmanguy: Thank you, I have seen many of these charts.
My question though is this: It seems a normal pattern for testosterone levels in a male would peak high during puberty to radically develop secondary sexual characteristics. Then, in early 20s or so T levels decline to an ideal level to maintain those changes. Myself and many others in a situation like mine have not experienced this radical change in our physiology during our teens for whatever reason. It seems to me that a TRT patient in this situation could benefit from a TRT protocol that raises serum levels to that of a pubescent male for the first year or so to help the patient reach his genetic potential then drop to mid range levels to maintain.

Thats probably a theory thats been talked about in the literature. Quite frankly, I dont know about inducing puberty in men so I wont even bother. What I can tell you is that going to a doctor who specializes in this area is your best bet bar none.

However, even if you just went on TRT you can absolutely expect to see the typical changes such as hair growth, libido changes, etc.

I would be spending all my research time finding a local (as local as you can get) expert on male Trt.

At this point I struggle to blindly trust a doctor. I have interviewed roughly 25 docs on the phone, most are retards or scammers. I will never start treatment without understanding it again. I cant find a competent doctor if I myself don't know what questions to ask.

The doctor you need to see isnt going to be available on the phone just for a chit chat or interview. Keep searching on google for reviews or researchers in the nearest big city. If it means you need to drive 2 hours then its worth it easily.
