bloodwork results after 8months on TRT

    hey guys..

well i figd id post some results for yall to tell me what u think. doc says all is good. im hoping i can copy and paste this stuff

current protocol: test cyp 80mg every 3.5 days, adex 1mg day after each shot, hcg 375 iU day before each shot test

ALSO I TOOK MY SHOT TEST 4HRS PRIOR TO THIS BLOODWORK

    PSA: 0.6ng/mL (0.0 - 4.4)

    total test: 1334ng/dL (348 - 1197)

    free test: 38.2pg/mL (8.7 - 25.6)

    hemoglobin ALC: 5.5 (4.8 - 5.6) should i give blood?

    free T4: 1.2ng/dL (0.82 - 1.77)

DHEA Sulfate: 245.9 ug/dL (88.9 - 427.0) said this is less than optimal and wants to increase dosage to 75mg per day from 50mg (where im at now)

    TSH: 2.29 uIU/mL (0.45 - 4.50)

Estradiol: 23.4 pg/mL (7.6 -42.6) id like to note here ive been on 2mg adex per week for 6weeks to get here. as yall know i went up to 53 and down to 7.8 ranging from 0mg per week to 3mg per week. i used my own logic to dose myself based on past results and think 1mg the day after each shot (2 shots per week) will give me the results such as this one

    IGF1: 339ng/mL (109 - 284)

    Triiodothyronine free serum: 3.0 pg/mL (2.0 - 4.4)

all comments welcome and appreciated. i think 2mg per week adex is my sweet spot. at 1.5mg i was high and at 3mg i was bottomed out.

    thx

it would have been better to do a sensitive assay for E2, but this one is okay i guess! so are you going to lower your dose? your free T is way up and that why you're having sides like high hemoglobin. also your thyroid range seems off, usually its 0.5-4.5, and the new one according to Kel is 0.3-3.0. how do you feel so far?

thx bass. doc said free test is ok between 30-40..?? and like i said i injected the day of my blood being drawn. like 4-5 hrs before..? usually before when i had bloodwork done it was on day 4 the afternoon before i injected (at nite) and free test was around 30..

hemoglobin i was wondering if i should give blood cuz ive been on TRT for 8months and havent given any blood at all yet. thought that mite explain it?

TSH range may be off. either way 2.29 is ok i think rite? they want to optimize it better but taking thyroid meds gives me palpitations. most of the time i feel pretty good. maybe a bit sluggish sometimes. def better than before the TRT i do feel like i could have more energy and think i have had more energy in the past (since starting).

These are a tad high as noted. Injecting 4 hours before your pull will have little to know impact on Testosterone serum levels...think along the lines that Testosterone serum levels peak at about 72 hours after injection.

    total test: 1334ng/dL (348 - 1197)

    free test: 38.2pg/mL (8.7 - 25.6)

TSH is ok in the low 2's and FT4 looks good BUT did you test for FT3??? This is the critical assay for Thyroid performance.

DHEAS is what you'd expect given where you are with your Testosterone levels and another reason for backing filling your pathways...best to add in Pregnenolone as well. Both should be in a Transdermal cream...pills, unless micronized, won't do much for you...TD is best.

IGF1 looks great...no HGH for you Buster

What the guys said. Yes, donate blood. Get in the habit every two months. Long term ok, who knows IMO. That's why we develop a good relationship with out docs and monitor outselves on a routine basis. It's not just numbers but how you feel.

And good to see you 405!
