    More sleepy during day

I'm talking like I'm falling asleep in my office chair. Started AI couple weeks ago, .5 mg twice a week. 200 mg test a week, and 500x2 iu hcg . In past I was tired a lot, but its sooo easy for me to fall asleep right now. I think my CPAP is dialed in right, but not positive. Get e2 bloods done sooner than later? I dunno it could be something different because I think it was before I started AI I had a weekend where I was so tired wanted to sleep half the day friday and saturday. I dunno if there is a correlation, or I just need to get more sleep, but kind of crazy how tired I have been. Feeling really good otherwise. Any ideas?

    Adrenal fatigue?

What was your cortisol level the last BW?

Do you get cold easily like your hands are chilled?

    How does salt taste?

Get a good nights sleep but wake up feeling really tired still?

Do some reading on adrenal fatigue and symptoms and see if sounds familiar.

Any past Thyroid panels would be helpful as well.

I have found no help in the sleepiness department since starting on TRT. Its unfortunate and like you, I wonder if its the anastrozole and never getting my E2 in a good range and stable. If I stay on the AI I hope to get blood labs every couple weeks until I figure it out.

Also, you could consider food allergies, glucose intolerance, insulin resistance, etc. This, I believe, is the root of many problems with fatigue in the modern world. We are almost force-fed fake ass, processed food!

well i guess for two weeks i have been on this diet to avoid all these food allergies. So eating a lot of different food. Salt tastes great, hands don't chill. I don't have any cortisol blood work. Thyroid, t3 was mid range, t4 was a bit low, and tsh was around 3.0. I have elevated thyroid antibodies is why I'm doing this strange diet to avoid these foods that cause an immune response. I've been craving ice cream and milk and junk like mad today. Anything sweet would be great.

On a side note i started arimidex around same time, and i've lost over 6 lbs in two weeks, and I look a lot less bloated and things are showing up that before looked soft. Adrenal fatigue is something I haven't really researched but it has always been in the back of my mind as a possible problem.

Big diet changes are easily associated with fatigue, especially in the short term.

I recently did a food "detox" where I ate nothing processed. For the first 3 days I was more run-down even though I ate a lot better. For about a week I was dying for sweets. We're very conditioned to want high-sugar food. It's very rewarding to our brains, so its normal to feel different while we ween off. Its very much like coming off of drugs, just much milder. But the same powerful brain neurotransmitters are at play here.

I'd make sure to get as frequent bloodwork I could get to keep that e2 in the ideal, feel-good range. if I can get it every 2 weeks, ill be glad about that.

Ok thanks. Craving sweets is an understatement. I want to just drink some creamy sauce more than anything, really missing butter and milk, closest thing I have is coconut milk, and it just isn't the same good creamy flavor.

soooo, I'm thinking maybe its my new cpap mask. Last night i took it off cause it was annoying me and didn't feel like I could breathe well, of course had a bunch of phlegm in my lungs and that was giving me trouble clearing it while that was on. So today I have been more awake than I have been in the past two weeks, and I have adrenaline from time to time and am able to get more done at work. So two weeks ago I got this new mask. Going to try my old mask tonight, hopefully it doesn't leak and whistle out the hose attachment. Maybe some grease or something around that part will make it more snug and not whistle, that would keep me awake for sure. Wish me luck.

Well I dropped my AI a week and a half ago, headaches I was getting appear to be gone, I can't tell about the day time sleepiness yet as I get 2-4 hours a sleep at a time, but will see next week. I did however have bloods drawn before I went off the ai, a really nice score of 28 from being on 1 mg a week, so at least I know that dose works well, however if it gives me headaches like that I need to find some other solution.

I just started my CPAP last night. Slept pretty well with it but did not feel any different any the morning than I normally do. I'm so SICK of being fatigued at this point. How long have you been using your CPAP?

In the past, I was unable to sleep at night so was very sleepy during the day. My insomnia was not related to HRT. In any event, I started taking Melatonin at night - 6mg. Changed my life. I now sleep much better at night and am not sleep during the day. Insomnia can be very debilitating. Alternatively, I know some people who take Benedryl and others take Ambien. I don't think those are good long-term solutions but can provide some relief if you have not been able to get a good night's sleep in a few days. With that said, I have no idea how a CRAP mask impacts your alternatives. Good luck.

I had a real hard time with the CPAP machine and had surgery to correct the Apnea. They removed soft palette, adenoids/tonsils and the uvula. Sleeping much better with little to no snoring. I guess not everyone is a candidate for this but the back of my throat was a swollen mess from the snoring and often got infected...

I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea in 2008. One of the worst cases my ENT has ever seen. I had all of the corrective actions that you had including a trach for 3 months. Rough going through it all, but in the end, it damn near got rid of my apnea except when I get badly congested.

also thought I might add water retention is still down since I ran the ai and did diet changes, so thinking a lot of it was the food. Have to say though without ai i get a bit more emotional, watched the warrior last night, that was rough.

Would be curious to see the labs when you get them. I wouldn't rule any of it out, and would like to see your CBC w/diff panel.

I've been asking for it, but wonder if the stupid nurse I saw last time didn't relay the message, and have brought it up several times over the phone.
