Does TRT cause azoospermia (0 sperm count) if FSH is normal?
I know that TRT could affect FSH levels negatively, and that would in turn affect sperm...negatively. (at least this is my understanding thus far...correct me if im wrong)
But what i would like to know is if TRT would affect sperm count via other channels, if you will, besides FSH?Last edited by x_SANDMAN_x; 08-17-2012 at 10:32 PM.

TRT will almost undoubtedly negatively impact your sperm count and/or quality. The only true way to know whats going on is to get your sperm checked.
Trying to conceive in the next year is one of the very few contraindications to beginning testosterone therapy .

Huh? You FSH won't be normal on HRT. It will be non-existent.
But yeah, the testes (responsible for both sperm and testosterone production) are only stimulated by FSH and LH (or HCG ).Last edited by Bonaparte; 08-19-2012 at 08:31 PM.
