    Dumb question :)

If you don't use the alcohol swaps and reuse the same needle without sterilizing is it likely injecting will make you feel really sick?

Wasn't in a particularity happy place last two times I injected and the possibility of risk of infection was not my main concern at the time, both times feeling extremely sick.

I think it is far less likely of you getting sick from infection if you only used it on yourself and if you stored the needle in a semi sterile environment. Not saying it's not possible but it is unlikely. But from now on why chance your health just use an alcohol based swap at the injection point and always use a fresh sharp pin. That's just good common sense. IMO

Ya I know man, both times I mean I feel really really sick right now, between allergic reactions and sickness think this must be some sort of sign.

they are more like 10 cents apiece!

OP, of course you'll get sick, when you stick your self blood gets on the needle, and leaving blood outside in the room temperature environment the blood will become contaminated. so when you stick that needle back in your body again with the contaminated blood, your simply poisoning yourself.

You know the copay on an insurance paid trip to the ER is probably $100? Your doctor visit is probably $20-30. A year supply of needles is what, 20-30 bucks?

No need to stress yourself over this kind of stuff. Its craziness! Good luck though hope you don't get an infection.

I just got over an abcess in my left butt cheek. I get my injections from a Nurse. Definetly don't want to get an infection. I had to let it drain for 6 days, of blood and puss. Had hot and cold chills and very bad night sweats. Got put on antibiotics. They put the injection to low on butt cheek, it opened up and got infected.

It's not worth the hassle! Find the extra cash and use fresh needles each time. Good Luck!!

More importantly what is it that leads you to the point of non importance of sterility around injecting?
We will all say don't do that, IMHO it may be time to look to a professional to sort it out.

Again just been in a really bad place at the time due to being off TRT for a month or so, not following correct procedure out of desperation and urgency to feel better, won't happen again, my post was just to find out how likely it is you will feel sick.
