got a few questions on bloodwork

hey fellas,

im not on trt but i am running a cycle of 600mg test e/400mg EQ for 12 weeks. I also take 30mg dbol weeks 4-8. I am now on week 5 and going to get bw done week 6. My doc is really cool so i can tell her exactly why i want the bw. so, what tests should i specifically ask for....i want to know everything

what are you concerned about? blood work during cycle is not going to mean anything, what you need is BW after your cycle/PCT to see if you screwed with your natural production.

Before and after would be even better so then you know what numbers you should be returning to after pct. I'd be interested in the following:

Full hormone panel including Total, Free and Bio-Available if possible
CBC complete
Basic Metabolic Panel
Lipids
Thyroid Panel
E2 Sensitive Assay (must be sensitive)
PSA
DHT
DHEA
Vit D
IGF-1

I'm sure there's more but that's off the top of my head. Others will chime in with suggestions. I hope your running HCG during cycle as well as an AI.

I wanted to get the bw done to see where my test and estrogen levels were at, and rbc count because I am running EQ. I should have got bw done right before cycle, I did have my levels checked about 2 yrs ago, the doc should still have the results I'm assuming. Would the levels 2 years ago be something I could go off of? I'm 31 yrs old. I don't know the numbers but doc said I was g2g then. This is my first cycle.

well, at this point that's the best gauge you have, little more recent BW would have been better of course. if specific tests is all you want then just get those, if insurance pays for it then get what Kel recommended.

Yeah insurance will take care of it. I will post it when I get it.

First cycle should always be just test, no other AAS. This allows you to see exactly how you react to it. Gains could be substantial from test alone as long as diet and exercise are on target. The last sentence in my prior post is important as is proper pct.

I couldn't get a hold of any hcg, running liquid stane as AI. Got tamoxifen and torem for pct.
The answer I was looking for really was other than the tests I mentioned in my prior post was are there any special tests I should ask for (hope that didn't sound dumb). I'm not sure what her standard bw is. I usually tell her specifically what I want tested.

Sorry, I see exactly what I should be asking for in your post kel. Thanks. Will you guys be able to tell me mid cycle if my numbers are lining up, like good balance between test, e2, and the like. I want to get this AI dialed in and keep everything monitored.

simply put there isn't enough time to get dialed in, in fact there is no such thing as getting dialed in during cycle. you simply run your cycle then do pct. some of us been on trt for years and still struggling to get dialed in!
