Nice numbers Bass! Get that LDL down!
Bass looks great buddy! Now stay consistent, right!
Condolences on having such a high IGF1 level.....:7up:
If you end up on cholesterol meds, research non-statins.

Thanks Kel for the recommendation! I'll keep that in mind.
Bass, do they give you the vials on prescription to self inject? I have to drive in once/week for my shot.
Yes most of us self administrate.Quote:

so, here's the question...do you have a "goal" or "target" for this reading? do you feel any different at these higher testosterone levels?
it's taken me nearly 3 years of "fussing around" with drs and supplements and injections, etc, etc to finally get my free testosterone level to that 24 mark - that was my goal. i'm curious because i wonder if there is any benefit to raising that T number any higher.
btw, based on some previous posts of yours, i think we're about the same age (i'm 53). nice to "meet" you. :)
nice to meet you too Rolling! i am 52 and will be 53 February next year. i like my free T to be in range, but some of us have low SHBG and that's why our free is way above normal, if i try to lower it then my total T will sit at around 500-550 and that's a bit low for being on TRT. i feel great at this dose, i only take about 117 mgs per week along with AI, hCG and some vitamins. were you trying to lower or raise your free T to 24 mark?
raise it. my initial free T reading was 16.1, which actually is not terrible. it got as low as 11.1 before i started taking test cyp injections about a year and a half ago. i've never paid too much attention to my "total testosterone" numbers because, from what i understand, the "free T" # is what is available for your body to "use" and therefore the meaningful #. my most recent bw (taken just last week, actually) shows a total T reading of 779 to go along with the free T of 24.8.
my estradiol: 21.9 - very good level. had been as high as 41. started taking arimidex. dropped it to 10.4. too low. now it looks about right.
these are good numbers, i bet your SHBG is mid range which is great, mine is at the bottom and thatch why my free is high. i am doing 50mgs e3d but next shot will start 50mgs every 3.5 days to lower it a little. you're right the free T is more important number to worry about however the second most important number is total T! both have to be in good range.
i've never checked my SHBG #s. might have to do that next test.
and thanks, btw. like i said, i've been "fussing" with this, it turns out it will be 4 years in nov! one number i still have to "tweak" is DHEA - most recent reading = 246.2. would like to see that in the mid 400's.
You're welcome, I been supplementing for dhes, I'll do BW next time to see if it's been effective.
