PCT Forum recommended HRT forum please

I was in the PCT forum and they recommended I come to HRT. Hopefully I can get some good info.
I'm 34 210lbs. I have been working out since I can remember. After 10 years of marriage and 3 kids well you know.....I was looking for a little edge to help me get back into shape and lift my swagger a little bit. Did my first cycle of Andropen 250 for 6 weeks, then primo for 8 weeks. Recieved great strength gains and lost body fat. I went out of the country so I started my PCT alittle late when I got back. I have not received any side effects so far. I went and got my blood work done and these are the levels I received.

Total test 10 (250-1100) ng/dl
Free test 3.1 (35.0-155.0) pg/ml

Doc told me to stay off all supps and come back in 2 months, (I didn't tell him about cycle)

got a 2nd opinion and the doc put me on 100mg test capsules ed for 2 months.

Should I start looking for specialist? or just take the pills, oh btw i'm taking liquid tamox right now 40/40/20/20

sorry to hear about your condition, obviously your PCT didn't work and you are completely shutdown. if i were you id be upfront with my doc and tell him everything so he can treat you properly, but make sure you find a good doc. what was your PCT?

Find a new Doc who understand TRT in men, the sticky at the top of the forum will help you find one...and there is no such thing as "testosterone pills"

Thank you very much knowledgeable members! Yea our healthcare up here in the NW sucks azz! I think I will try and find a diff doc.

Bass my last pin was July 31st, I had to go out of the country so I didn't try and take my PCT with me. When I got back I went and got my test levels checked and that why I started freaking out about it shut down. When I didn't recieve any help went to another doc and seriously the bottle reads "testosterone pills" from a pharmacy. So I don't know what they are if they are not test lol. I have been on Liquid Tamox since then 40/40 ed.

Can you recommend anything extra to get it going before having to go to another doc? I will get my levels checked again next week to see if it is making any progess.

There's a lot to pct. You need to possibly look into the combination of clomid as well as nolva in effort to restart your system. They are both serms but work together synergistically. Clomid will give a better GnRH response and nolva is preferred as a serm. As mentioned above, get off whatever "pill" you were given. You need to get yourself restarted asap. If that doesn't work, read up on triptorelin.

If that serum score is accurate, you're in the tank, bad! Having seeing numbers like that, I have no friggin idea what type of pill a doctor is giving you?? This should prompt any doctor to immediately order an MRI, just to rule out any disorders. Who knows, you may have been somewhat suppressed prior to this cycle of yours. I'm not going to knock this cycle too hard, except to say that it looks like you didn't plan this through very well.

Even on the PCT, just running a two week Nolva program at 40mg isn't exactly thorough. Some HCG would have helped keep your testicles producing some endogenous, but again, I'm sure there's plenty of things you might do different if possible ...

First step ... Get with a new doctor as you proposed. Let him/her make some assessments, then keep us posted. I'm not really going to recommend that you take this compound, or that compound til you get with a qualified physician who can fully assess your condition properly, which means that he doesn't send you home with "Test pills". BTW, if you find a name on those, or manufacturer, please let us know. I'd like to get more information on it. Thanks.

Thx Kel, I will order some Chlomid from ar-r . I've been just doing the Tamox. I feel like shit, lazy def hard to get up in the morning and go to the gym. I can see where I have added body fat around my waste line too. sucks.

Is this legit stuff or should I get the f of of these?

reading the stickies I will go see and endo specialist this week, and find diff doc this week as well.

These are really a prescription from a doctor? The description fits that of a gel but if it's a pill sound more like birth control...

Is there a brand name or generic name for the pills? The soy and micro are basically fillers or binders...

The pharmacy said it is a compounded prescription. Yes on the label reads "Testosterone " is the only thing listed, other than take ed for 30 days/refill.

This is listed on the paperwork, but not the bottle.

There are no FDA approved "Testosterone " pills here in the US that I know of...but I could be wrong.

Andriol is an oral testosterone pill found in Europe, in a fatty base, for lymphatic absorption in the gut.

Agains, it's not available in the U.S., and from what I have heard, does not work very well and has to be taken like 3 to 4 times a day.

If so, I'd have a lot of questions about this as it could reek havoc on the liver among other unwanted bad things.

Ya just never know in this industry (untrained Docs doing bad things) and one needs to be very careful.

That was the only thing I could come up with also is cyp powder or gel and he says it's pill so it seems someone is making it into oral so it's having to be through the liver as you mentioned. Wow, talk about a bad idea ESPECIALLY long term such as HRT.

This should interesting to see how this goes as in what it is and why they are making it.

I wish I were joking by the sounds of things from all the members. Its a pill. I tried to go to endo specialist yesterday and they can't get me in for6-8 weeks. I have an appt to get new blood work done next friday to see if anything has jump started. I will continue to take the pills and liquid Nolva hopefully this will help. What do you think about the topical cremes available? I am able to get that as well, doc was not crazy about giving me anything else. When I asked about HCG to help jump start the test, she told me there are not clinical proof HCG will do this> HUH?? They apparently are not hip to what they are treating. Thanks again for the info and I will continue to share what I find out about the gear prescribed.

ya got bloodwork done after 1st cycle wanted to see where I was relative to what I have read on the site. I just did got my bloodwork back from Friday. Here is where I was in August also noted at top of thread.

Total test 10 (250-1100) ng/dl
Free test 3.1 (35.0-155.0) pg/ml


total test is upto 146
free test is upto 46

so total is still low, but free is normal.

doc still recommended nothing, just said that whatever I was on was bad for me and I'd be alright....not good enough for me especially for what I pay in med ins lol

Keep in mind I'm still taking 100mg compounded test in capsule form that was prescribed by the other doc...who wants to up the dosage btw..i'm not feeling comfortable with all that going through my liver RIGHT!! wtf! Long term HRT on a pill......I'm on my forth week of liquid tamox as well so should I stop taking the tamox after this week or keep going untill test levels are normal?

I still have a refill of the 100 mgs test caps too. not sure if I want to keep taking them though, the other doc did mention the gel

So doc upped my dosage to 150mg testosterone still in the compounded pill form but also added 25mg dhea................does this seem healthy for longterm HRT??? I'm alittle worried about my liver

Why haven't you challenged your Doc on the use of a pill versus transdermals or injections that 99.9999% of the men use here?

Good advice! I wonder what oral testosterone is doing to his liver, If thats real steroids !

I expressed my concerns and this is what the doc said.

The liver filters hormones on a reg basis, naturally...the body makes uses then gets rid of old hormones all the time through urine I should be ok.....what the hell??

So I'm in the process of getting into another office......on waiting list 4 weeks out.

As far as being real I asked the Pharmacy and they confirmed its testosterone compounded into a pill. Thanks for the help everyone, I've learned more in here than from 3 diff docs, lol. pretty sad we are paying these peeps to experiment on us sheesh
