the people giving me my shots

i have been getting my injects @ urolg. office the past 5 wks. got bloodwork on Fri and if all is good my wife will start the injects from here on (dr.'s approval) today i went to get my shot i noticed the dart was only containing a 1/2ml my script clearly states 1ml/wk. i explained this to the lady and she assured me she was right(even though i showed her on the med. box 1ml/wk) the cyp is dosed @ 200mg/ml . im wondering do these people even know what the hell they are doing or are they just going on what most other patients get. im not to worried about it the bloodwork will tell the results and if its working fine, but if its not then im going to point this out to the doc on the follow appt next monday. i will note these are not reg. nurses they are office assist. and one is a med. assist. what do you guys think is 100mgs the more likely dose or should they be giving me the full ml. my test was @ 240 ish if not mistaken @ the beginning. 32yrs old.

Incompetence in your Docs office is a red flag to me...beware.

Why initial dosage of 200mg? That is the high end for TRT and in fact Docs like Crisler, Gordon and others are now starting men out at 60mg to 80mg and getting great results.

100mg would be the starting range for age related androgen decline even if your Total Test was 240 pg/ml.

Can you post your BW complete with ranges and why you are on a TRT protocol so we can conduct a better assessment for you?

Yeah, starting at 200mg/week seems crazy high. My doc started me at 100mg/week, rested after 5 weeks, upped me to 110mg, retested five weeks later, etc. until I was dialed in at 140mg.

You may want to double check the mg/ml dosage is all I can think of. When I began TRT, they were using Test-C dosed at 100mg/ml. I questioned a dose a few weeks ago and found out they were using a brand at 200mg/ml now. I don't think pharm supplied test goes over that amount in terms of mg/ml, but ask your doc directly.

pretty sure he means HIGH = GOOD

I definitely would have made sure that the doctor was informed and the 1/2 cc or 1cc thing was PERFECTLY clear before i left the office

i will def post up my blood results. the only thing i cared about to begin with was the t-levels, but i will be sure to get complete layout so you guys can take a look. hell, all of you may spot a problem somewhere else (not joking either) i really like my dr. like i have said in other post my wife worked for him around 5 yrs and he has became a good friend its the office and assist. help thats got me scratching my head. i havent seen him since 1st appt. but i will see him on monday and i will bring up the issue; especially if my numbers are not where he wants them. by the way im fine with a low dose my overall health is my biggest concern. thanks guys!!

I guess you know what I am going to say about a statement like that on this forum...right?

Read the sticky on how to find a TRT Doctor; they are out there and their numbers are growing.

Do it right, TRT is very complex and you need the right care...it's your health.

if those numbers are where he wants them mid 600's range (what he told me to begin with) the shots will then be turned over to my wife to inject @ home. he trust her since she was his nurse and she is totally fine with the trt she just wants me to be happy in life; lucky i got her. i will post up monday went about 9 a.m. and got 3 tubes of blood drawn so the results will be here. Everybody have a good weekend!!!!!!!!!!!
