Does anyone stack Deca with test long term as part of your HRT? I was prescribed both and I have been hesitant to add at this point until I got comfortable with the test. I was prescribed 150ml week of test c and 100ml week of deca.

This is not uncommon. I have not used this protocol but I kn ow many people (and on this forum) that include deca as part of their TR/HRT and report positive reviews with respect to joint issues.
only clinics prescribe it, most TRT docs don't. its not good for long term, however at 100 mgs per week for 12 weeks is great for joints. it will increase your RBC and hemoglobin much faster so make sure you donate blood on the regular basis. but you're smart to hold off on this until you get comfortable with your TRT protocol. i didn't and paid the price!
I know a couple people that run it long term. Deca is a 19 Nor, not test. It won't aromatize but it can/will elevate prolactin. I agree with holding off until your get a handle on your TRT. My doc writes it for me as I told him I would like to run it once a year for 12 weeks for joint health @ 200mg per week. With different drugs come different sides to watch for.

I'm running it now for approx. 12 weeks. My suggestion to newcomers is to utilize the 1st year with getting your protocol dialed in. Get everything on track first, let your body get fully acclimated with HRT, then possibly approach other compounds with caution. If you're in a position where you need to cut weight and BF, then adding a compound like Deca isn't a very good solution at anytime. Last year, I went into a 12 week blast at/around 180lb ... By week 12 I was at/around 198lb.
As Kel stated, it's a Nor19 compound, and it will have different characteristics about it then what you will see from testosterone. And though the estrogenic activity is mild with this compound, it does have a tendency to impact progesterone and increase prolactin levels. So, to combat this it will be necessary to include a dopamine agonist, such as cabergoline, and get that part of it leveled out. Yet another compound and task to include with getting everything balanced out.
Again, dial in your program, and in the meantime you can get fully educated on the pros and cons of stacking other compounds with your HRT protocol.
I always enjoyed a long term low dose of nand deca.
Anyway, Agree with above regarding holding off. :)
How does one go about asking their doctor for a low dose of deca?
I'm already on cabergoline so I got that covered. I have no issue buying UGL deca but I'd rather get pharma grade from my doctor.
I'm new to roids in general, now that I'm on TRT though, I've really been looking into deca for joints and also to gain a little muscle conservatively. This would probably be like in another 8 months, way after I get tuned in on the TRT.
How much does it up your testosterone level? What about just 100mg a week?
Juice...Most Doctors won't have anything to do with it, I get it from a clinic as do most people who have a "prescription".
OP..... Some people report less pain in joints while on deca and some claim it does nothing at a low dose, there are a few articles about deca and collogen synthesis posted somewhere in this forum, after it's all said and done it is like most things TRT, it's very personal and your body will likely respond in a unique way so it's hard for us to say exactly what you should expect but one thing that is widely accepted in the TRT community is the time it takes for your body to acclimate to a TRT protocol and it's rather important to monitor yourself closely for the first year as to get dialed in so to speak. That said, It would be detrimental to keeping yourself dialed in to go ahead and add another compound right now, Bass spoke to this matter briefly concerning his negative experience and I myself used deca a little too soon, it makes it near impossible to find a "healthy" protocol while your "playing" with other compounds. Find your sweet spot and let your body settle in to it, then down the road you can do some "temporary" things in addition to your protocol.
