    quick question about LH and.....

    So I was looking at my results and these two caught my attention...

    FOLLITROPIN - <0.3 Low == mIU/mL Range - 1.4-18.1
    LUTROPIN - <0.1 Low == mIU/mL Range - 1.5- 9.3

    Does this mean I am sterile???

    Yes this is BW while on HRT, Sorry I forgot to mention that. I know this means my tests are almost completely shut down, but I was hoping that this would also mean i'm sterile lol

    Testosterone will undoubtedly shutdown your HPTA, which means minimal production at best of LH & FSH.

    Both hormones signal the testes. LH to the Leydig cells for endogenous testosterone production, and testicular wellness, and FSH more for the Sertoli cells; geared more at the sperm production.

    The quick and easy on this topic ... If you're in club HRT for life, then add HCG (mimics LH) for testicular health and some natural test production, and/or add HMG (mimics FSH & LH) if you want to get serious about having children. It would probably take several months of HMG therapy to get up to speed with normal spermatogenesis activity. Regardless of your therapy choice, get with a qualified physician.

    I definitely don't ever want to have children, that's why I was hoping that this would someone reduce my chances drastically lol

    You picked the right therapy if you were looking to diminish your fertility chances, LOL!

    Even if so, a little HCG will go along ways with keeping good testicular health, and even some overall enhanced well being! Keeps the nutometer alarm from going off!!
