    New Guy Intro

    Hello,

Recently was put on Doctors orders TRT after being on my own TRT program for the past 2 years.. Thought I would formally intro myself, contribute what I can as I have learned quite a bit the last 2 years.. My most recent challenge is the high hematocrit and hemoglobin values in my bloodwork.. Doctor is testing me for Hemochromatosis. I bloodlet yesterday at the local red cross and feel 90% better.. I was not aware of the Androgens raising my RBC, even had some bloodwork done in February of this year and they were mid-range normal.. Have been having a bunch of joint pain lately.. After yesterdays Phlebotomy, I feel waaay better today..

Previous 2 years I did 150mg Test E with hCG in the mix when I remembered and Armomasin once a week. Never really had any E2 issues that I was aware of so didnt think I needed it. Never had any Blood Work done in those 2 years to monitor my Test Values, which is why I came off for 1 month then was tested.. As you are aware I crashed bigtime, so here we are..

Doc put me on 100mg a week Test Cyp and hCG twice a week. Monday I started SubQ injections at 50mg. hCG will be done on Tuesday and Friday. Test Cyp will be done Monday and Thursday. Doctor ordered BW so that will be done in 5 weeks from now..

    Stats:
    38
    6'1
    230lbs
18%-ish BF <-- just a rough guesstimate. Diet has been TERRIBLE.
Also started GH today at 2iu a day and am going to do 5 on and 2 off. MAYBE 7 on, will have to see what supplies are.

My goal is to get down to 200lbs. Haven't worked out in a few months due to feeling like total crap with the high iron levels and some family issues. Looking forward to getting back in the gym in a week or so to achieve my goal.

Been hanging around for quite some time reading, so I hope to contribute anything I can, along with the MANY knowledgeable peeps around..

How much HCG does your Doc have you injecting? Any reason for injecting the day after your test vs the day before like most suggest?

I am trying to learn myself so just questions as I just started this past week and am injecting 500iu of HCG the day before test, 2x per week.

Welcome 38. Curious what your sensitive E panel came back at? Did your doc run that?

    Glad to have ya here!

    Welcome 38!

Good move on the blood donation. Thanks to this group i too realized it was something important to do to keep hemocrit levels in check.

I am also on GH and you may be able to consider 1.5 IU 5 on 2 off. It saves on your supply and you may avoid some of the side effects. The forum for gh also has good info and feedback since this group discourages it's use.

At least you know your diet wasn't the best and can do something about it if you want to. That was a big game changer for me. I was cutting calories to stay lean and it destroyed my energy.

    Good luck with your protocol!

Welcome 38, I too have been on my own TRT program for about a year now and this site has been a wealth of information! After reading your post I realized that you are the second person that has stated how important it is to donate blood. I think I better get to donating. LOL.

250iu twice a week.. I chose those days for the heck of it really.. With my experience the last 2 years, hCG can be administered basically whenever you want, for me its just seeing my testes a normal size, to do that twice weekly, whenever you want works..

No sir not yet.. We will run it in a few weeks for my first 6 week follow up. I have a feeling I am going to need a bump to 150mg/ week but we will see where where my Test comes in at..

It's frowned upon by the mainstream medical community which this area/forum supports. Rightfully so in most cases since GH is abused but, you hear guys talk about "blasting" on here too so that's in the same category IMO.

In any case, GH q's are best for the GH forum fyi. You can get good advice and hear the results of others.

Since you are TRT too we are in the same boat.

Mytee I don't frown on GH use whatsoever. Not sure I agree that this forum looks down on it. Or blasting if that is what someone chooses to do. It just depends on the person and their ability to do so properly. In the future I will look more into Sermorelin / peptide use myself.

    Hey Kel -

I wasn't speaking to any of your particular views - you have been very supportive on here especially with my protocol.

That was a pure opinion post on my behalf - I got the feeling that gh was not encouraged on here from my experience.

Totally agree that GH, sermorelin / peptides depend on the person and their ability to administer properly.

Speaking of gh and sermorelin - for the first time in my life I have veins visible in my abs! I started GH and sermorelin for an injury recovery but the side benefits rock ;-)

Tingling in my hands. Mostly when I am sleeping
Some water retention too however I think this will subside shortly when I get used to it. I may drop to 1.5iu/ day and see what happens too.. Not really liking the water retention.

Wow. Didn't think a doc would write it. Normally you have to fit into a certain criteria for it, e.g. stunted growth, etc..

There is still some wiggle room out there IMO.

I have some major injuries that qualified me. I saw a couple other guys on here with the same situation.

It ticks me off that media coverage has tainted a good protocol because it can be a real help to a lot of people - especially the TRT guys.

Totally agree! The media has Demonized "Steroids ", we also don't get much help from the Professional Athletes out there looking to get an edge.. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around why using GH is so bad..?? Why does the US Gov frown on it so bad..

Pro Sports and the Government as both of you pointed out basically destroyed alternate uses of GH. There are so many drugs in the market that were developed for one use and when it was discovered they could treat something else, doc's were prescribing it no problem. Chantix, Lyrica, the list goes on......... IMO GH is one of those types of pharmas that should be used with guys who want the added physical and mental benefits.

I was hesitant to look into Test because I was raised with the mentality that "steroids" were "bad". Well as we all know, used responsibly and for the proper condition, Test can really improve one's quality of life.

Ironically, Sermorelin is readily doled out if you ask just about any TRT doc or clinic. This also "supposedly" heightens IGF levels which GH also does. Since the public doesn't have a clue what it is and since it's not coming up in BS like Lance Armstrong TV specials we may at least have access to another TRT med <ranting complete haha>

You had to bump a 2yr old post to ask that? Why not just start a new post?
