New rules for my clinic

Picked up my prescription today from my clinic, and they said this will be the last walk in pick up,.. All prescriptions will now be filled by a pharmacy and need to be ordered ahead of time..(through them)...so they recommend I call in the week before to ensure my order gets in on time....they said it was a new California law going into effect. They gave me a 8 wk supply and I do blood work my next visit. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I don't use a clinic, but it wouldn't suprise me if clinics start changing their tunes... there has been a lot of crackdown on pill mill clinics, and there is a large section of HRT clinics that fall into the me category. So, even the legit clinics pay the price of increased government oversight.

Heck, just a few years ago I don't believe any states tracked pain killer interstate commerce. Only with the advent of big money pill mills has the scenery changed. There was a really cool article about this in Forbes too a couple months ago about pill mills and craigslist.
