Need help: Just got prescribed HCG but having trouble finding pharmacy
I just got prescribed to HCG and was told by my Dr's nurse that I would most likely have a hard time finding it locally, even though I live in a decent sized city. She said I would most likely have to order through this fertility clinic they use. I called walgreens, cvs, target, and walmart and none have it. Are there any bigger pharmacies that carry it? Where do I go? Also does your insurance cover it?

I get mine from overseas, much easier to get on line, but you need to find a trusted place. get 50 posts so I can PM you with some info.

Central Drugs Compounding Pharmacy. Phone number is 562-691-6754
They are in San Diego I believe. I get 5,000 iu delivered next day with bact. water for $55, my insurance doesn't cover it though

That surprises me that the mainstream pharmacies don't have it. All of them do in my area. Never a question.

I am really hoping my insurance will cover it. I am about to try HCG mono therapy and was prescribed 1500iu 3 times a week to start. That would cost me $200 a month, WHOA!

Yeah I called a bunch of places today and even two compounding pharmacies in my area and they didn't even have any. One of the walgreens locations said they had CG (not HCG ) and it was basically the same as HCG, but a synthetic version. I was confused to hear this because I have never heard of it?

From what I've seen, most compounding pharmacies will have it or make it. It's probably going to be pretty pricey though. The one posted above is the cheapest I've heard of.

Is CG (chorionic gonadotropin) the same thing as HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin )? The women at walgreens seemed to think that they were different, but didn't sound 100% sure.

Novarel is just a brand name for HCG . It's GTG if you can get it.

I guess I wasn't asking for the right "medication" when I was calling around everywhere. I was asking for HCG and should have been asking for novel. Thanks for the heads up guys!
