    switching esters/back to "cruising"

I'm 24 y/o TRT patient planning on doing a "Blast" with Test Prop and Tren Ace.

I was wondering when the best time to start administering a longer ester testosterone (returning to cypionate at TRT dose) with the Test Prop would be... Obviously, the test Prop will clear my system in a matter of days, and the Cyp will take a while to kick in, so i want to make sure i don't go completely without any exogenous test. How soon before the last injection of test prop should i begin introducing test cyp again?

Approx 2.5 weeks before you end your blast you need to introduce Cyp back into your cycle. This will ensure that your blood serums levels are saturated enough that when you discontinue Prop, the long estered Cyp will take over.

Why not just keep your cyp base and blast right on top of it? So much easier.

Actually, this is your definitive answer. I was focused on reintroducing Cyp and neglected to acknowledge your TRT.

teste and cyp hits its peek per dose in only 2-4 days (takes time to notice yes, but i find the same thing for prop minus a few days). I would just start it 1 week before you stop the prop personally.

Honest answer.. IDK. My female general practitioner just listened to my symptoms and ordered BW to be done for Test, free and total. Thats all she tested for, and she didn't really explain anything to me. I had no clue about anything related to that, so when she said i needed to start TRT I just followed doctor's orders. In the time since i have been on, I am pretty upset at how sloppy and uninformed my GP seems to be. The only thing she has ever tested for at check ups was test, free and total, to see if the exogenous test was helping.

As for, why not keep with the 200 mg test cyp, and just add the Tren Ace... I just figured since I'd have to pin so frequently, I may as well try the prop ester.

Yes but why stop pinning your cyp? Just run the prop and tren a in addition to your cyp. When blast ends just stop them and your back to your trt dose.

Like they said, pin your TRT throughout any cycle you do.

Also, give short esters like prop 4 weeks before bloodwork to clear out. If all is good, you can back it down to 3 and then your taking more of a chance lesser days you go. 4 weeks is alot but better be safe since you dont want to lose TRT.

You never did answer why your on TRT at 24.....
If your just determined to blast and cruise that's your call but if legitimate TRT I'd really like to know what caused it at your age.

ok cool, that makes sense to just keep the cyp the same, and add in the tren and prop.

Allaaro- that is smart, thanks for the advice.

Kel- IDK what caused it. There was no trauma to the testes or anything I can pinpoint. At the time, my girlfriend and I were near the due date of our first child. I was feeling depressed, had no energy (despite a healthy diet and exercise with a good amount of sleep every night), and I went from having sex 3 or 4 times a day to the point where sometimes i couldn't even perform, even though I was still attracted to her. I went to the doctor and she ordered BW for test, free and total, then immediately stuck me on TRT without explaining anything to me. Thats all I know, unfortunately.

also, the closest thing to an AAS I had ever taken before TRT was an herbal "test booster" supplement from vita shoppe, and ZMA

JR for your own good, find another doc asap. There has to be a reason and your incompetent doc did not search for it. Jesus, hypothyroid will give the same symptoms as hypogonadism for gods sake. High cortisol can crush test levels. So many other things. You are to young to be on this for the rest of your life without a valid causative factor. If you doc had nuts you should kick her in them, hard.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a normal high test level of a 24yr old and not have to worry about TRT for another 20 years! It's worth the time to invest in a good doc. It's also worth travelling to one of the best ones if you have to. Don't sell yourself short. Find a good doc.

kelkel is right...you need a better doc.

I'm young on TRT myself, but my doc tested for everything before going on TRT. Also even tried HCG therapy first and went for an MRI. Although cause of my low T was still unknown.....did find out it was at least secondary hypo. But like you should test EVERYTHING. Vitamin D levels, cortisol, thyroid, feratin(sp?),etc...I think I had 15 tubes of blood taken lol. There have been some cases where someone with extremely low vitamin D levels had now T....give them a supplement for vitamin d and they are cured(a rare case though).

Thanks guys. I have been calling around, and even used the anti-aging doctor search site Kel had posted in another area. After talking to a few people, I found one Dr. who will see me, even though I am so young. I hope that being on TRT for a while already hasn't damaged my HPTA too far to jump start things again, if possible. I go in middle of January, hoping for good news

No you don't wasn't an anti aging sight. They are who people go to when the doctor WONT prescribe testosterone . What you want is an endocrinologist who will check out your thyroid and do other test to find out WHY your test levels are low.

Sorry you found a doctor that just stuck you on test without finding out what the root cause was. if you were in your mid 40s then it wouldn't be a question or issue but 20s is way to young.
