hCG Mixing: Withdrawing air before Pushing Water
My doc mixed my hCG the last two times. Tomorrow I have to do it myself for 10,000iu of hCG.
Based on Youtube videos, it looks like every time you are withdrawing liquid, first you have to push in the same volume of air? And when you are pushing liquid in, to create equilibrium, you should first withdraw the same volume of air, right? "Air in, for liquid out", and "air out, for liquid in"?
So the real steps are:
1. insert needle and withdraw 4ml of air from freeze dried hCG vial (careful not to suck powder up)
2. with same needle, push that air into bac.water vial
3. draw out 4ml of bac water
4. push bac.water into original vial of freeze dried hCG vial
I got this right, right?
