    Acne !

    Maybe I jumped too soon.

I added EQ to my TRT protocol and its only been 3 weeks and I'm breaking out on my shoulders and chest.
I'm taking; 200mg cyp EW, 200mg EQ, 600mg HCG EW.
Everything has been great, thought I would step it up and now feel like a teenager.

I don't do injections. I apply a gel each day. A month ago, I started getting acne on my shoulders. I bought a scrub cloth (can't spell louffa pad) and started scrubbing shoulders with neutragena (can't spell that either). Acne quickly dissapeared. Its like $2-3 a bar, but worth it.

I started using some of my wife's proactive body wash/scrub I hope it works. I broke out really bad about 10 years ago with finaplex and I will never let that happen again !

I noticed when I was out in the sun during the summer and on vacation it clears up quick. So now I go to the tanning bed once a week and I have been doing good. I use dial soap and a back scrubber( twice a week) on my back and shoulders. The dermato;ogist said not to over do the scrubbers because it could make acne worse.

Thats not TRT, that's a cycle! Are you running an AI? Your E2 levels are likely through the roof.

I go to the tanning bed twice a week and it helped clear mine up. Like Mickey said though, your e2 is probably elevated. I would make sure to get that under control and it should alleviate the acne.

Increase it to .5mg daily for 5 days and examine yourself on the 6th day to determine if the increase has had a positive effect or not. But without bloods its difficult to say what exactly your protocol should be.

I cant really advise you to increase your dose beyond what i have already suggested as im fearful of crashing your E2.

Thank for the reply. I actually checked that same post out last week. Good info. My E2 was under control prior to starting and have seen no symptoms so far. In June I will go back for BW.

I am sensitive to acne outbreaks when my test dose increases. Recently my estrogen rose and I experienced a sever outbreak. As estrogen was checked acne got better. To help accelerate recovery doc gave me doxycycline antibiotic. Doc also gave script for topical acne anti-bacterial, Clindamycin Phosphate. Lowering E2 and antibiotics clearing it up.

So you are guys are saying estrogen plays a bigger role in acne breakouts than testosterone ? So if one has elevated testosterone, but estrogen is normal they most likely won't experience a breakout? But if estrogen is high, it doesn't matter where testosterone levels are, that individual will experience a breakout?

I'm saying Testosterone DOES causes acne outbreaks. .
In my case there seems to be a correlation between elevated E2 and acne intensity.

too little or too much e2 can cause breakouts. As can rapid hormonal shifts or fluctuations. I use a 2% salicylic acid body wash if i get breakouts.

You indicated in your original post that you had a case of acne breaking out on your shoulders and chest.

High/unregulated estrogen will cause a hormonal imbalance in the body which can result in acne. Everyone reacts differently. In this case I am having a small out break !
