Made a mistake drawing Test Cyp

Hi all, I feel so stupid about this. I am a rooky about all this and thus this mistake.

I got tired of drawing test with a 23 gage, so I ordered 18 gage needles . Used one to draw test yesterday and opened a big hole in the rubber cap, big enough for test to leak out.

What to do? Should I just call my doc and tell him I need a new bottle, or I can still salvage what I have? The vial is 85% full.

That's for any advise.

I don't really have answer but more of a comment and a question .... I have always used an 18 to draw and never had this issue. How did you do this?

Me, I'd put some white medical bandage tape over the hole and just deal from there or if one had another empty vial one could transfer. Could maybe buy an empty vial from a pharmacy.

Not sure how it happened. Maybe i stuck in to the same spot twice.

So i can just walk in to a pharmacy and buy a vial?
