DHEA question is 7 keto dhea necessary?

My dhea is low and i have some walmart dhea but it is not micronized so I thought I would order some that was and noticed they have it with and with out 7 keto. Im guessing I just need the micronized dhe

Yes, you just want micronized DHEA 50 mg.

7 Keto DHEA is not the DHEA you want. In fact, the body doesn't even produce 7 Keto DHEA you need to take it in some form like a pill. It is thermagenic so if you want to lose weight it can help with that...but it's somewhat expensive as well.

Remember to compare your pre and post BW to monitor it's effects. Also take note of your lipids and E2 for changes.

Yea my dhea is 102 and estradiol sensitive is 9 so my doc switched from clomid 25 mg eod day to compounding cream 200 mg test, .5 mg estradiol, and 8 mg progesterone. My compounding pharmacist wanted to confirm the .5 mg estradiol with me and once I told him about my dhea and estradiol levels he thinks that extra dhea and getting my total test above 700 will help my estradiol levels. I plan on retesting blood after 7-8 weeks to see if estradiol levels are up enough to discontinue the .5 mg estradiol in the compounding cream.

Should I finish off the big bottle of dhea i have now that is not micronized or just go ahead and get the good stuff. Or instead of taking 50 mg now of non micronized should I take 75-100 mg until the good stuff comes.

I wouldn't throw away the DHEA if it wasnt micronized. I just wouldn't buy it again. The absorption is lesser, and the cost savings simply aren't there to justify its use.
