Hi all. These labs are after one year HRT currently 100mg test cyp oaw.
Blood drawn 5 days after inj. Doctor looked puzzled when I asked for an e2 test.
Wanted nothing to do with that or talk of hcg . Any how not sure if the attachment will come through so total test 693, free test 130.2, and LH 0.1,
From my reading here I'm ok w test results however should start hcg 250iu 2x a week.
    Any comments?

LH of .1 is to be expected on TRT, so that's unremarkable.

testosterone of 693 seems like a pretty good place. I would go on how you feel at this point before suggesting a change, if any.

are you concerned that your E2 is too high? even without an AI, you can help control E2 by splitting up shots, say twice a week. that will lead to more stable levels and less peaking.

it doesn't sound like your doc knows much about TRT or HRT in general. therefore, its not unreasonable that he would shy away from HCG . many docs do, especially because the FDA has been coming down on it due to the infamous hcg diet craze.

No I wasn't concerned about e2 levels just read here that it should be tested.
I feel great with my treatment now. I may consider going to twice a week.
Other than that I had a small amount of testes shrinkage.

That's what matters. You feel great! Why change anything? You have hit the goal of actually feeling good on trt.

I would still get the E2 checked, but I would not throw in an AI indiscriminately.

As for shrinkage, a small amount of shrinkage is normal, but it should stabilize. Its very individual though and some get more, some get less.

    From the HCG sticky:

    Why we need hCG:
    1. To produce Pregnenolone; hCG activates the p450 side chain enzyme which converts cholesterol to Pregnenolone!!!
    2. To produce the precursors for DHEA, Estrogen, Cortisol, Testosterone and DHT...back filling the pathways (See #1 above)
    3. For proper and normal brain function
    4. For proper functioning of the testicles
    5. If men ever want to restart
    6. If men ever want to have children
    7. If men don't want balls that end up in a small mass of useless Collagen
    8. The list goes on...
