    why use hcg

been on trt for three years now, I do injections once a week and use ai when needed. I have never used hcg before just wondering why anyone that was done having kids would want to take another chemical and inject another chemical in there body if the didnt have to. Its a pain in the ass as it is just worrying about taking the testosterone for the rest of my life and pinning my ass once a week is a pain in the ass as it is. So unless you think your going to have kids still and want bigger balls then be my guess, my dr said thats the only reason i would need it, no thanks. Keep it simple guys less is sometimes best.

It maintains testicular size and function and if is of no concern to you then don't take it. I'm on trt and haven't used it in years and the size of my testicles doesn't bother me.

Agreed. If testicular atrophy and having children is no concern to you, dont take it.

Read the sticky on HCG at the top of the forum.

    Do you need it?

    No.

But the sticky may give you second thoughts on the matter.

Depends upon your definition of "need", I guess. Just got my vial of HCG in today. First injection ever, done-zo. Ain't no thang. I wonder how long it'll take before I notice any effects, if any?

Do keep us informed! I'm really interested in the personal anecdotes as far as changes in well being from HCG .

I don't take HCG, but I also don't like the thought of having testes that do nothing.

I started hCG about 2 months into HRT. My balls literally ached -- especially the right one -- and I am glad the hCG put and end to that. Anyway, I have read the sticky many times, and know it is a lot more than just keeping your balls from shrinking.

As for the bother of pinning hCG, it is waaaay easier than pinning T. Takes a fraction of the time and effort. Now having to have hCG refrigerated -- that is pain.
