    Need some info

It's been a while since I posted on here, so sorry about the lack of keeping up on here. Second, I moved recently and started seeing a new Dr. I just turned 30 and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was about 24. So, I'm in for my first appt with this dr and also a yearly checkup for my thyroid. Well I asked him as he was doing blood tests to throw in a total testosterone test and also an growth hormone or IGF test as well (Dad was diagnosed with Acromegaly and I've been checking every 2 years or so). So I got back partial results today (won't get the IGF until Monday). But it turns out my Testosterone levels are sunk. I never did a cycle of anything before to where I shut down. Would my thyroid hormone levels throw everything out to where my T level was well below the acceptable range let alone the average level for my age group?

    Lab Test Result Expected Range
    TSH Reflex to Free T4 6.5 UIU/mL 0.3-5.1 UIU/mL
    Free T4 1.41 ng/dL 0.73-1.95 ng/dL
    Total Testosterone 214 ng/dL 292-1052 ng/dL (The avg for a 30 y/o male is supposed to be around 600-700)

    So...thoughts? advice? help?

Your free T4 is not bad, but your TSH is dismal. A poor thyroid would absolutely effect your testosterone , as well as just about everything. A very well regarded dr, Dr Mariano from California, chooses to fix thyroid before treating with testosterone. Sometimes, you can avoid the need for the testosterone altogether.

What other thyroid labs do you have?

Are you on thyroid meds? Any meds?

What are you looking to accomplish or willing to change, if anything?

    What symptoms do you have?

Hey HRT nothing recently, only stuff from a year ago and my thyroid was within acceptable ranges for both a year ago. Definitely felt sluggish as all hell lately. Yes on Levothyroxine was .075mg doc boosted it up to .1mg after these labs results came back and I have a followup appt. in a month. As far as accomplish or change, I haven't really ever had my T tested because I've felt fine. I want kids in the future and also one day to just be jacked. I started researching foods to naturally boost levels right now just to see if I'll feel or see any difference. Idk though... I'm kinda freaking out bc I've never been in this situation before and I never did a hard cycle or anything like that so yeah.... Def low libido and lethargy for starters.

    Armour Trific?

Armour is just another prescription thyroid med, sometimes works better than most of the rest.

You are just like alot of us....too bad they can't hook a cable to us and download some better parameters into our HTPA, or reset them......maybe someday they'll just give an injection of stem cells into the pituitary.

Well I'll find out in a month how I'm doing. Honestly this was all sparked by some recent bedroom issues and I asked for a cialis script. He gave me a trial pack bc he didn't believe my levels would be too low... Cialis was awesome but it's kinda like errrgggh now bc of the T level results. Hopefully it is just a thyroid issue and not a situation where I will have to poke myself until the end of time. I used to have to do my Dad's injections into his quads bc he hates needles. And back then I was like well gear would be great when I'm in like my 30's and I want to go to the next level...now I feel like the kid who went to Disney World but only got a glimps of some signs off the turnpike. haha oh well I'll wait a month see wht the doc wants to do and then depending on his protocol he wants to try and my research, I'll check out my options or get a second or even third opinion.

So I've been going back and forth to the dr since I last posted. Test level has remained between 215-260 each month...def gonna go the hcg therapy route bc I still want to have kids one day and I'm only 30. Anyone with thoughts advice opinions etc ??? Mind you this is also after I tried using hcgenerate for a month as well and no luck with that bringing my levels up substantially either.
