Starting 6th week, questions ?

I havent had any bw since I started and I want to know ,how do you know if the injections are working ? My protocal for now is .50 mg every 3 1/2 days sub q. I havent experienced any morning wood yet, no sides,[thank goodness] and I guess i'm going to have to wait until my dr. contacts me to get bw to be sure my numbers are rising. I currently have not been perscribed hcg or an ai. I am experiencing some slight tenderness to my right ball. I will be speaking to my doc about that when I finally do see him. When do most drs. call for follow up bw ?

After 6 weeks is a good time to see how you are doing on the BW.

You may have to call the dr. Many drs do not understand how to manage a HRT program. They will just prescribe some T and forget about you, unless you say something. Since so few drs do understand HRT, you need to educate yourself and your dr.

Did you take the time to read the sticky at the top of the forum on how long things take?

It's pretty accurate.

Testosterone at these dosages is no panacea as the TV ads or some people will tell you...like most things, it takes time.

Also, life style, diet and exercise among a host of other things all come to play to get a successful outcome.

If you're injecting 6 to 8 weeks is time for your first BW...you're due.

OP, most doctors in the know don't leave you hanging to wonder when they will schedule BW. A 'good' TRT doctor would have taken your baseline labs, and told you that YOU WILL be taking a 2nd round at 6 weeks. A good TRT doctor would have already reviewed HCG and AI's with you at the startup of your protchocol. Don't be too shocked when your doctor won't know much about these medications. Agree with GD, best to read not only the top sticky, but all of them!

I thank you guys for responding. I have read all of the stickies , some more than once. I forgot the morning wood thing was on the "what to expect" sticky. Since this is the beginning of my 6th week I will wait until the end and see if I get a call for labwork. I f not I will give them a reminder. I shouldnt have to , like Vette said, but I will see. My work outs have been going pretty well,I'm also enjoying the great pumps you get from cialis,"thanks GD for the insight ". I am hoping the sub q method is working for my body. Thanks again.
