ID:	133640For the last 5 years I have been feeling like crap both emotionally and physically. The last 18 months have been the worst. I was involved in a motorcycle accident last year and had to undergo a few surgeries to repair my foot and ankle. Since the accident the symptoms(no energy,no libido, lack of concentration, trouble sleeping, etc) have really gotten worse. It is affecting my marriage, my carrer and worst of all my kids say I have anger issues.

All of the research that I have done on my symptoms lead me to ask my Dr for blood work to be performed to check my testosterone levels. I was starting to think that the issues may be Psychological as opposed to physical until I got the results. They came back with low testosterone levels. My Dr was honest and said that he would prefer that I go see a Urologist for treatment. I have read so many different articles all over the net and that is how I ended up here. Thanks to the information that I have gotten here, I have found someone that I am going to be working with that understands the issues. I hope to learn, participate and most of all start feeling better. I have attached my labs if anyone would like to comment. The attached shows total t at 345 while the lab I had the week before came in at 224 total.

    Welcome!
The guys like to see the lab ranges for each if you have them handy.
Did you do any thyroid testing?

Thanks, I attached the initial set of labs. They were taken a week apart. I am going to speak to the Dr about thyroid and E2 testing. I will be retested in a month or so.

You have some other numbers that are out of range. I do not know enough to know if those indicate a problem that could cause or exacerbate low testosterone but you should see a dr who has that knowledge. If your low t is caused by something that can be treated, fixing it that way would be preferable to TRT. TRT isn't as good as natural hormones for a lot of reasons you'll find out about if you read the forums here.
