    what is making me happy?

Hey guys. Some weird things have been happening lately and I don't know what is the culprit. About 2 months ago I started using pregnenolone 60mgs (micronized) and 25mgs DHEA (micronized). I have changed so much in the time ive started supplementing with these 2 that it is almost spooky. Im the type of guy who always has his guard up. I never really trust anyone 100%, but since I've been taking these (along with my trt) ive let my guard down tremendously. I've been happier than I can ever remember, and it has in returned helped my relationship with my wife. We havent had any problems with my marriage, but she always wanted me to cuddle, hold hands, etc, and I never really did any of it. But now I cant stop. It kind of freaks me out being like this. I feel vunerable, but I'm so happy. She is happy. I feel like I need and want to be with her all of the time, and I have more fun with her than anyone else. Now I know y'all say this is the way it should be, and I know this, but all of this started after I began with these 2. I've used nothing else since, so I'm thinking it has to ne something to do with this. Last thing, is 60mgs of preg and 25mgs of DHEA an ok dose? I want to make sure I'm healthy while I'm happy. I sure hope this post doesn't sound weird. Thanks guys.

DHEA has been known to relieve symptoms of depression but whatever it is why question it man; life sounds real good right now and I for one am happy for you

Don't change a thing and when you get your next blood work remember to post it here.

Re DHEA dosage, take 25 mg twice daily...it has a rather short half life so this will provide for a stable serum level.

Read the sticky on Pregnenolone there's also additional information in there re DHEA.

    gd

PS. It could also be that your E2 levels have elevated and you're feeling all girly now LOL

Ha ha. My e2 is in check. Ill take the dhea 2x then. I didn't know that.
Its not that I'm questioning why, just what could be causing it. Life is certainy good now, but I have to be honest, I'm getting a little insecure. Having my guard down scares the crap out of me. Ive never had an issue with being insecure, but I am a little right now.

War to piggy back on the E2 comment by GD, it can elevate E2 a bit so this could be a part of it as well. It elevated mine a bit which was a good thing for me. BW in another month or so will verify it again. Track it!

    Happy for ya!

Ill dig up my last bw. My estro was a touch high, but extremely close to range. But this was at a time I was using 500mgs of test. Ill check my e2 levels fro. Last time and post. I am a little sensitive, but alot happy.
and Marcus, I would and might try that. I just feel so good that I'd hate to chamce anything. I am pretty insecure now, which is new for me. It is sounding e2 related........

I stopped and started getting weird muscle stiffness in places like my chest and biceps when I extend my arm, and other places, just a few days back on and it's going away, but I want to give it a couple more weeks and see with nothing else changed if it comes back.

My nurse told me I probably didn't need to take it since I'm younger, but to try to come off and see if I feel ok, I obviously didn't but starting back up if it fixes cool, if not I might drop it again. Always thought it helped from the first time I started even.

Thanks! Im a cuddle bug at the moment, lol. But I'm really starting to think this is estro related. I'm a little over emotional. I'm only on 125mgs of test weekly, and 450 deca . Ive been taking Ldex mondays the thursday only as a safety precaution, and caber .5mgs on the same days. I really didn't think thay low of a dose would aromatize, especially with the ancillaries. Only one way to know for sure I suppose. I definitely want to continue this path, but the emotions arent idea.

    In bold.

This is what we are all about in here; plus the longevity of life and health that comes with TRT!!!!

Oh, there is NO DOUBT about that war.

Our goals here are different than aas use.

Health, youthfulness, energy, sex drive, sharp thinking...and on and on is why we use TRT not discounting staving off age related diseases.

It becomes a way of life.

Hell, my TRT Doc said to me two weeks ago if I keep this up I will look even better at 65!!!

Look at my avi...I am 52 1/2 years old.

Look at kel's avi and he's not far behind me.

Look at Vette's avi and he's also is close to my age...see what I mean

I read something awhile ago a out the benefits of taking melatonin during the day, but can't remember exactly what it was. Melatonin, when taken before bed, make me have crazy, vivid dreams. Which almost makes me feel less rested.

I use both Marcus to do to primarily back fill the 3 pathways that are dependent upon Pregnenolone and DHEA consisting of the Androgen, Mineralcorticoid and Glucocorticoid.

We seem to forget that when we shut down HPTA and the tests stop functioning that it's only about fertility and testicle size. The testes produce Pregnenolone and to some extent DHEA. When the testes are shut down due to exogenous testosterone either form AAS or TRT these two critical hormones are significantly suppressed.

They are needed at optimal levels not just to support the Androgen pathway but the Mineralcorticoid and Glucocorticoid as well; and this is what we forget.

HCG when administered will also support the production of Pregnenolone and DHEA as well as other hormones. In fact, it's HCG that stimulates the p450 side chain cleavage enzyme that is principally responsible for the conversion of Cholesterol to Pregnenolone...another reason why we need HCG!

All I can say is I look and feel great so having these two foundation hormones as part of my protocol works for me.

At the end of the day if a man is on AAS or TRT it's just good common sense to add them in.

What benefits have you seen personally when you started them? I know the ins and outs but just wondered what improvement you have seen personally what you started them or anyone else?

None that I can actually list. I can say that my protocol is dialed in across the board and I feel great and these two hormones are just part of my overall protocol so they must be having a synergistic effect.

But no, I can't say that when I started them something miraculous happened; I do believe it's more at the molecular level than anything else supporting the final outcome.

With DHEA, i notice less procrastination/anxiety on getting thingks done. Sex drive is slightly better.
On preg, its more prounounced. I wake up in the morning feeling enthusiastic and ready to do shit. So dhea seems to cause an absence of negative feelings that paralyze you...and preg supplies actual good feelings, it seems..in me anyway

Might want to try why Marcus suggested but I would just go with it and not put any more thought past that. So hard to have a positive attitude day to day so even if it was a plecibo, Chalk it up as success

Am I right when I say the *general" consensus for most users seems to be one morning dose of 60 mg of Pregnenolone and 25 mg of DHEA, twice daily (for a total of 50 mg DHEA)?

I've just recently began taking these two, so curious as what the best/typical protocol seems to be. It's good to hear all the positive results!
