    TRT and different brands

    Again with a silly question,

TRT means staying on test forever?

In this case can i use different brands of test every after 2 months? It might be hard to find same brand for whole life,

    Views please

    Testosterone Replacement Therapy.

Yes you can change brands. Just be sure to know what the strength is (mg/ml) in case its different from the last.

    Ali,

It just dawned on me that you may not have been asking what the acronym TRT stands for, but rather is this type therapy for life? The answer is yes, mostly.

TRT is typically administered to men who are testosterone deficient and have no chance of producing their own, or not enough, to maintain a happy healthy life. Basically, TRT restores quality of life for the majority of TRT patients.

If after having bloodwork you discover your Test levels are low, then TRT may be the answer for you. You'll have to discuss this with your doc. But if he/she is not on board with this type of therapy, don't be discouraged - there are many alternatives that await you.

Thank you guys and Mickey, if this is for whole life, doesn't human body get used to testosterone injections like other drugs or medications and reduces the efficiency with time?

No not at all - it doesn't work like that.

Which ever level of exogenous testosterone protocol is determined right for you, will remain a constant in your system. Its not like a drug. Your body cannot distinguish between natural testosterone and synthetic.

And remember, you're shutting yourself down completely - you are producing zero testosterone. So, the only testosterone in your system is the exogenous level that you and your doc have chosen to be right for you.

Mickey, if I run HCG in this case I am not shutting down my natural production. if I keep my natural production will this effect testosterone efficiency of injectables?

No, this will not affect your TRT dose nor the efficiency of your protocol. The inclusion of hCG will prevent testicular atrophy.
