    Endocrinologist or other doctor?

I have seen 2 endocrinologists so far, and both of them don't really seem to know anything. Would I be better off going to a different type of doctor? Do urologists specialize in TRT at all?

Check out Kelkel's sticky in this forum on recommended doctors.

I believe you should be looking for a Wellness doctor or Life Extension doctor. Both of which will likely be well versed in TRT and hormonal issues.

I have came far with two Endocrinologists and a Family Physician. That is only because I was determined to do what I thought was right. I like to think of doctors as a tool for me to explore.

That being said, I am sure MickeyKnox's advice is legitimate. The veterans know a lot on this site.

Actually, I just read the sticky.... All it says is to go to low testosterone .com and pay $200 a month for everything a wellness doctor as well as a life extension doctor doesn't exist anywhere near me.

Did your endocrinologists refuse to prescribe you with hcg and anti estrogen while taking test? Because that's what both of mine are doing. They also want me to take 200mg of cypionate every 2 weeks, with no regard to the half life of it. Does your family doctor prescribe you anything?

You're right. It seems that Kel has updated the thread.

Do you have insurance to cover TRT? If not, then the suggestion for LowTestosterone.com is a good one.

Ya I have pretty good insurance. My 5 month supply of test cypionate was only $15. So it makes sense for me to keep getting it prescribed through a doctor. I'm extremely tempted to keep reading and researching and then try and talk my family doctor into prescribing me everything I need. I would prefer not to do that though. Useless ass doctors.

My endo said I didn't needed HCG because I didn't have a girlfriend at the time. He also said my hands were cold because of moisture problems. Ended up being thyroid issues.....when I went to a wellness clinic and got hcg/adex/test/thyroid meds and feel great now.

Also, whenever I try to find a wellness clinic online, all that comes up is shit about yoga and proper dieting.

Start a thread in here titled, "Looking for TRT/HRT Doctor" and then in the thread body include where you are from. Keep bumping it up and in a day or so ill bet you a nickle you'll have a few places to check out.

Op, if it's not conducive for you to try the sponsors clinics and need to look elsewhere you should try to find an A4M Certified Anti-Aging Doctor. You can use this link to look. Just close the gaps in it: .a4m. com/ directory.html

Thanks for the reply. I already did that. It's $262 for one appointment since they don't contract with insurance companies.
