    Looking for TRT/HRT Docs in the Georgia/Gwinnett Area

    Hello everyone,

    New member as of 3/1/13.

    I am seeking a recommendation on a TRT/HRT Doc in the Georgia/Gwinnett Area...I've made contact with lowtestosterone .com but they do not have an office open in Sugar Hill, GA as of yet.

    Info: 37 yo, 6' 0", 212lb, hitting the gym 4-5 days per week since November - Heavy lifting with Plyometrics for cardio - healthy diet. For the past 5 years I have been suffering from lack of energy, decreased strength, mood, low libido, soft erection, .

    Blood work from LabCorp performed on 1/9/2013
    Testosterone = 465 (norm 348-1197)
    Free Test = 6.8 (norm 8.7-25.1)
    Albumin = 4.3 (norm 3.3-5.5)
    LH = 2.3 (norm 1.7-8.6)
    FSH = 1.5 (norm 1.5-12.4)

    My Urologist does not want me to start TST due to the lifetime commitment, but I have been feeling horrible for the past 5 years and I am ready for a change.

    I have an appt scheduled with LabCorp this Monday, 3/4/13 to have more BW performed for the following so I will post those results when received:

    • Total Testosterone
    • Bioavailable testosterone (aka Free and Loosely Bound)
    • Free Testosterone
    • SHBG
    • DHT (gel users especially pay attention to this)
    • Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males) - E-Sensitive 140244 - CPT Code 82670
    • LH
    • FSH
    • Prolactin
    • Cortisol
    • Thyroid Panel (complete)
    • CBC
    • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    • Lipid Panel
    • PSA (age dependent)
    • IGF-1, IGFBP-3 (if HGH therapy is being considered)
    • Vitamin D

    The knowledge this forum has is amazing!!! Thanks.

    Well I'm hoping this site helps you accomplish your goals, it's tough being a guy like you because your total is in range and so the dr.s often say you're fine when you know damn well you're not....so you have a further struggle just to get treated and insurance often won't cover it because you are in range....it sucks, good luck!

    You are spot on Trific. My PCP, Endo and Urologist all refuse to start me on TRT because of my levels, but my body says otherwise. I am hoping to find a doc that is more versed on my symptoms and can provide the proper care.

    I see that LowTestosterone.com is suppose to be opening an office in Sugar Hill, that possibly might work for you. Their banner is at the top or here's a link with some chat on them:

    Thank you. I read through the link the on yesterday and I reached out to them on yesterday and was told that they will contact me once their office in Sugar Hill opens. I am waiting for VTX1800 to provide me information on a doc that he's seen so I can possibly make an appt.

    Tried sending u a message but I'm thinking that new users can't use PM until a certain amount of post have been made to prevent spamming. 25 I think? Try and pm me again, when Inviewed your page there wasn't a pm link on there that I could find.

    Thank you,

    I had to use the "send email" option due to me not having 50 posts for PM'ing, I just accepted your "Friend" request this morning,

    You should have an email from me where I provided my personal email address for the docs information.

    Thank you in advance.
