My Dr wont let me pin at home so I have problems in NJ
Guys ive been on here since July reading not speaking just reading and learning- I live in NJ near NYC I started at an Endo an was doing home shots but everytime I saw the dr she lowered me again and again an my test was staying the same.
Now I go to a DR in Jersey City its a wellness place and its good cuz they cover nutrition etc but I have to go get a shot every week! Its messing me up cuz I want to do the shot at home every 3.5 day like ive been reading- Ive been going here for 6 weeks 2 weeks ago I demanded an E2 test cuz of my symptoms an got BW back an I was at 86 the range was 22-52 so he prescribed arimedix an told me to take once a day which I did not cuz of what I read on here im doing 1/2 EOD -
I need help DR wont let me self inject at home cuz he saye "he needs to monitor" we know thats BS its a business like everything else but I dont want 200mg of test every week I want to do 75 mg every 3.5 days an hope that controls my E2-
This DR also gave ,me a script for HCG but all the levels of everything he prescribes are high- he wants me to take 300 of HCG a daily! There are red flags all over an I need some advice.
I need help I dont want to stop TRT been doing it since July but dont feel great still at new DR an he is trying to make my hormones crazy with his levels he is prescribing from the Test weekly to the arimedix to the HCG - I need advice and possible another source-

That's silly. Find another doc. If you have recent bloodwork results and want critique, post here.

Thanks for your services.

That's just stupid with him needing to monitor your pinning. These guys are like the fed gov't, they just make this shiat up as they go.
I know several out of state places if you're willing to invest in a plane ticket. I think our clinic at the top of the page is about ready.

I khow its crazy, Its what drove me to finally post on the site rather then just lurk and learn- I work a ton of hours so the situation/location has to be convenient to my work or home area- The DR actually told me the reason I dont want to do self injections is when I get my own script the GOVT puts me on some controlled substance list an the other reason is monitor levels so I said I dont care about the list any GOVT agency has I im not doing anything shady if a dr prescribes it an I come in once a week for shots which takes all of 15 mins an no one has done BW since I started coming Jan 28th so who know what my test levels are- Its a hustle an his levels he prescribes are kinda concerning since ive been reading here-
The place up top looks awesome but there locations are no where close to me I cant go down to PA once a month its just to far- Thanks for the replies

i see a few places not far from my location using the A4M search- I think there doing BW at my "current" dr Mar 13 or the 20th which is covered by insurance- Would it be best to continue with current Dr to get blood results an then use the results at my intitial contact with prospective new Drs?
Its been up and down with this journey that started in July the endo i 1st started with put me thru a battery of BW before she finally let me self inject 200 every 2 weeks then my hemoglobin level got a bit high and she freaked and put me down to 40 mgs every 2 weeks even though my test levels were 167 also she didnt know what hcg was etc so I left- New dr similar did blood work waited 4 weeks then finally got injections- I really dont want to have another pause or stoppage on injections due to switching drs- Let me know what you think my be

one more question with everything ive said about continuing to see my dr for a few weeks while waiting for BW an finding a new DR what amout of arimidex should i really be taking? my E2 was at 86 (range 2-52) he prescribed 1 mg a day! im taking 200mg of test per week with a shot of B12- What does should I really take to get the levels to middle range? Ive read a lot of different protocols from .5 eod to every 3 days etc.. is half the pill eod best to start with or lower or more?
I still dont feel much of a difference since I started this my original test levels were 160 when i saw Endo then when I went to new DR I hadnt had a shot of test in 13 days an my result from his BW was 147- Sorry I dont have recent complete BW cuz he didnt give me a copy he just told me- I know now why this not a good idea but in the meantime this all the info I have-

Darkmatter,
I started on TRT about the same time you did. Went through just about the same shite as you. Found a good urologist but he doesn't do shots - or hcg - or ai's and doesn't test for estradiol. Found another doctor who's protocol and practices were way outdated. And I searched around some more. It seems the only doctors who know what they are doing are Park Avenue types charging $650 for a first visit and $300 every visit after that and no insurance. That leaves most of us running around continually looking.
If you are in Jersey City, there is a clinic across the river in lower Manhattan. I just began treatment with them but at their mid-town location.
Ageless Mens Health
65 Broadway
Suite: 1804
New York, NY 10006
Phone: (212) 430-6677
They do it all for $210 a month. I don't know what most guys on the forum spend per month for their meds, but I'd guess it's something close to this. They do test cyp shots, hcg, Anastrozole. They don't run "full" blood work - meaning they only do PSA, Total Test, and Estradiol - so you might just want to do complete labs with your family doctor to keep well informed. That's my plan.
Let us know how it goes.Last edited by 2Sox; 03-06-2013 at 03:44 PM.
