I've heard you can test your hcg to make sure its real by giving a little squirt of it on a pregnancy. Would it be better to use an ovulation test ? Just a thought.

I am almost certain that a pregnancy test is not sensitive enough for accurately testing HCG.
You can get a serum HCG test from a lab...
I'm sure someone out there has tested HCG on a preggo strip before? Seems like it would have happened given the two's relation.
I tested my HCG with a pregnancy test I purchase from the 99 cent store. Just squirted about .2ml in the cap that came off my syringe then dipped the test strip in the cap for a few seconds. Came up with the double pink lines almost instantly showing pregnant :-)

Yea I just tested mine on a .99 cents store test as well. Faint at first but came up positive as well. I heard that man people test their hcg by putting a drop on the stick then sometimes don't see a line and throw away perfectly good hcg. The problem is, for instance, mine is mixes with 5 ml of bac water, therefore you need more than a drip to get results. Pregnant Women pee and they're excreted how ever many thousand iu of hcg. Big difference compared to putting a squirt on a test equivalent to maybe 100 iu. The whole thing is that pregnancy test detect high amounts of hcg, so never frown if the test seems faint. A line is a line, just more visible with higher hcg presence.
I would wait to send out announcements... just incase of a false positive.
Lol!
i have used a pregnancy test to test my hcg. it worked. test was "positive".
what is an ovulation test?
Thing is all thats gonna do is tell you that HCG is present, it will not quantify the amount. My concern with off brand HCG would mainly be potency not authenticity.
There's only one test I use...if my balls drop down a couple hours after injecting, it's all good.![]()
Sorry for the double post, stupid smart phone
I can only speak of my personal experience...I was on a gel for about nine months. Felt fine. I started noticing a slight pain and things were getting a bit tighter. So yea, about three hours after my first injection, things felt and looked better. If I go a day without, things tighten up. Within a couple of hours, all is good again.
