    SubQ cyp injection needle question

    · 1 ml Lurelock syringes; 25 g, 5/8” needles to inject test cyp subq? Will these needles be sufficient in administering SubQ test shots twice a week rather than IM twice a week? I watche Dr. Crislers YouTube video and Im hell bent on injecting subq from here on out.

Yes, they will work although I'd prefer smaller. If I do SQ I use anywhere from a 27ga 1/2" to a 31ga slin pin. If you switch to total SQ take note of your TT and FT levels for changes. Always interested in results. Let us know.

If I wasn`t shooting 5ml per week this might work for me.

thanks all for the quick replies. Kel I will 4 sure keep u posted on TT FT changes as Im due back or my 6 week check up April 4th. Reason I asked is that I already have these needles so I was just trying to get by without ordering smaller ones. My prescription included the needle sizes for drawing and injecting so Im not exactly sure how to go about purchasing smaller ones with out a doctors prescription. I'm assuming they can be ordered online.

I use 30g for my hCG and GH shots, 28g for my Test cyp shots. I also heat up a coffee cup with about 1/2" of water in the microwave for 30 secs then let the vial sit in the water for a few minutes to heat it up so its easier to pull through the tiny syringe. Way easier than waiting at least 5 minutes to get the small amount of test in the syringe. Try not to get the water too hot or boiling.. This has worked for me since starting SubQ 12 weeks ago..

That is the 20 Million Dollar question and not easily answered, as personal experiences are all over the place. I have only done SQ and have T and free T in the upper ranges with one 60mg dose every 3 days. Others claim very poor absorption with SQ, but many like me, do fine.

Yes I have gotten at the top of the range as well with 50 mg twice per week sub q. I have now started rotating IM and SQ like gdevine, and will see how that does. My only real complaint with SQ is that I get those nodules underneath the skin, and while they dont really effect anything as far as absorption they are just a nuisance.

In low doses, SubQ is certainly a better method of delivery. Easier on your E2 levels as well so you don't typically have to take as much of a blocker, if any.

Aus... What's your thoughts on keeping my same schedule and administering .5ml twice a week(Sunday AM-Wednesday PM) 200mg/ml a week. All Im doing is just switching injection methods so There is no need to mess with my schedule, just keep it all the same put pin SQ.

For me, SubQ injections didnt benefit me much at all except keeping my E2 levels waaay down.. I switched to IM and everything skyrocketed.. So, I am doing both, IM and SubQ, to keep E2 in check without the use of an AI, and getting my T level up as much as possible..

Thanks for sharing your experience I thought it through and I believe my best bet would be to wait a few more weeks and see where my BW stands. This will be my 6 week 1st BW since starting TRT. Before i go changing things around I just need to see what the blood has to say! I'm 3 weeks in and honestly, I can't even tell that Im on TRT.

If you have a low bf% and weigh around 170---its possible to shoot IM with a slin pin don't you think?

I'd assume so, if you know for sure your needle is penetrating the muscle. Be careful not to waste "your man juice"

When I started injections I did exactly 6 weeks at 60mg every 3.5 days SubQ in my bellyfat only, then got labs...I went from 304 to 394. The next 6 weeks I did 75mg every 3.5 days subQ in my thighs (quads) and I went from 394 to 842. I am currently not doing HCG or an AI. So in my experience Subq didn't absorb as well in the belly fat, maybe less blood flow????? My E2 skyrocketed up to 52 along with my test during the same 6 weeks. So now I am starting my 3rd 6 week trail period adding HCG and an AI. I kinda wish i would have kept the dose the same for the test of using a different location.

I use a bd 27 gauge 1/2 needle to shoot and an 18 gauge to draw. I still warm it up so that it isn't so thick when injecting.

I did my 1st SQ shot last night using a 25g 5/8" needle. It actually worke well, do bruise no blood but the injection site left a small knot that hurt pretty bad, especially when I rubbed it. Woke up this morning and pain was gone, no problem at all. I think Im goin to stay with IM though at least for another 3 weeks to see where my BW is at.

I have heard that you are not supposed to rub it/massage the site. I have also found that pulling the needle out quick and straight gives no bruising, What site location did you use? Since I have very little fat on my thighs I always use an ice-cube to massage the area first, then dry and wipe with alcohol, then pinch a little and inject. Zero pain! I never thought I would be able to do my own injections and used to go to the nurse when I first started.

Some would rather not poke holes in a muscle, feel there is less trauma, less pain.

I switch back and fourth, with Subq I don't pinch the area and I inject slowly. I use a 26 gauge needle 3/8 inch long, no problems what so ever.
