Hello everyone: I am getting my GH tested. What is the best way to test it?- In all your opinions. I don't want to be misdiagnosed. Let me add, I am a 5'9", 21 year old male. Haven't had issues during puberty. But my Thyroid and Testosterone levels are off, so I want to test this.

Thoughts?

Or are you referring simply to IGF-1?

Do you have insurance? What are you trying to rule out?

As mentioned above, IGF1 is the general test to check for GH activity. It's not the only option of course though...

I just know there are those and insulin -stimulation tests? I wasn't sure if there were more I should worry about. At this point I know it doesn't hurt to ask. I do have insurance. And at this point I am wondering if I have Hypopituitarism.
