    IGF 1 and hgh Questions

So I started TRT over 3 weeks ago and then switched to HCG mono therapy to increase sperm production due to wife wanting to do IVF (doc said to stop trt for now until after ivf). This week my IGF 1 results came back the results are 140 ng/ml with normal range at 170-295 for my age (43yrs old). Doc mentioned that could go on HGH and my sperm would not be affected. Any thoughts on this?

Hgh won't effect your testosterone or sperm production. It's a peptide not an androgen.

Kind if strange your dr would prescribe GH after testing only once at barely below ref range. I'd get tested again for sure.

Thanks for he reply. Doc didn't prescribe it yet but only suggested as an option. Obviously due to cost would have to think about it. Just wondering if GH would be a better option that going back on Test after IVF.

Any more thoughts from people on my above post.
On another note, I actually have a buddy that was prescribed HGH and bought a one month supply but chickened out and hasn't used it yet. Wants to sell to me for half price. Is it even worth the month usage?
