HCG and Sudden hairloss or male pattern baldness...any connection
I started HCG 2.5 months ago and suddenly am seeing hairloss. Don't know if there's a connection...?? Don't know if its just my time or what. Anyone seen hairloss with HCG
Also, I'm still on my TRT and want to know how much to cut back while on HCG? I have no BW to know what affects HCG has had. And, I can't get it. So, is it possible to say... most people see "X" percentage rise in testosterone level when HCG is added or is this an individual thing and can't be answered?
I'm on 100mg/ every week of Testosterone.
I'm was dosing 250 IU HCG MWF, but have cut back to the suggested "Stickie" protocol of two days before and one day before next injection.
Again, I don't have a cooperative Dr or BW to help know what to do. I get called out for it each time I post, but I can't change what I can't change.
I know this... I've been on TRT and without HCG for 3 plus years. Since I started HCG and my system restarted (YES!), many of my negative sides from TRT are gone. I feel much better in multiple ways.
thanks for any positive feedback in advance.

I know im asking questions that need BW to realistically be able to answer...and I don't have it. I will take anything constructive or logical...a best guess is fine.
Simply put... is there a logical reason to see hair loss when using hcg after being on trt for 3 plus years? Does turning the system back on trigger DHT to come on...or whatever the hairloss hormone is?
And, is there a typical amount a person will see their t scores to jump when starting hcg after years on trt? Is it too individual specific to say?

Im certainly no expert but TRT in itself will hasten hair loss. When I first started I was on Androgel and after about 3 or 4 months my hair was falling out in bunches. I started with Rogaine and regrew most of what I lost. Rogaine really works for me and does for most of the guys I recommend it to. ( I am a barber ) It is not a miracle drug but can help you hold on to what you have and stop the bleeding. I would think that by restarting the boys you have more Test and there for more DHT and possible hair loss. Use Rogaine and think about Propecia if you want to. I know of guys who had good luck with it also but I have also heard stories about bad side effects for some.

I would definitely stay away from Propecia.
I noticed my hair was thinning so I started Rogaine foam as per a recommendation from my dermatologist. Worked like a charm... I use it in the front part of my scalp.

Hey Zen, That's interesting that you had luck in the front. Rogaine was originally tested and approved to work on the crown area only and I believe the maker could not advertise that it worked elsewhere. My hair loss was mostly in the back (crown) area and it worked for me. I always suspected that it would work in the front too but was reluctant to recommend to people. Good to know.

Hair loss generally goes wit the territory on test, i can't imagine your friends think that is absurd. Avadart i feel is better than finasteride (propecia) with less sides. If you are predisposed to hair loss, test may accelerate it. Some guys do not have the problem. But if you are training in a gym full of guys on gear there are usually a lot of bald people there. i'm not talking about guys in there 40's to 60's either, late twenties and thirties. Combatting hair loss through avadart, propecia, minoxidil and estrogen blockers are the only way i know. Keeping your dose at a reasonable level also.

Look into Nizoral. It's shown to thicken hair and prevent shedding. Also works for Test induced acne due to the ketoconazole which Is the main ingredient. U can get it over counter or by prescription. I believe the prescription form is better with 2% ketoconazole. Google it or use the forum search engine, there is ALOT of info about that stuff. Guys running big time cycles swear by it.

Is Nizoral shampoo? I had a shampoo with ketoconazole to help with a rash on my chest (yes I rubbed it on chest hair). I also used it for dry scalp... wondering if it is the same thing.
Yeah I was skeptical but my dermatologist swore by it. She said that I should do it as a preventative if I notice even slight hair thinning. Turns out she was right - they say only the crown as apparently that was the only place that was formally tested.

Yes nizoral is a shampoo and the main ingredient is ketoconazole which is what's known to reduce acne and thicken hair.
