    Reconstituting 10,000IU’s of HCG

I just got back from the Dr with a 10,000 IU vial of HCG powder, 12ml bottle of bacteriostatic of water, and a bunch of .5 cc insulin syringes and I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. If I'm reading the sticky correctly, I mix 4ml's of bacteriostatic water in with the powder, after mixing draw out .1ml on the syringe and this will yield 250iu of HCG? Hopefully this is correct?

Might want to double check this....but I use 10000IU vials of HCG also. I add 10ml bac water so its easy math. 250iu is .25cc on insulin needle.

    100%.

Dont forget to freeze some if you're not going to use it all up after 45 days or so. Actually, i personally use 30 days as a cut off point for freezing my hCG. But that's just me.

Ok, since ya thanked me by accident, remember, the 10 mark on your 1/2 cc insulin pin is 250 iu. Every other day or 3 times a week should do it.

Know that it will kick up your Testosterone serum levels with natural production so get some BW done in about 6 weeks to see if you need to dial down your testosterone dosage.

    Thanks again GD!
Another question. I totally was not prepared for the vacuum that was created when I stuck the needle into the hcg, and how quickly it shot all the water in. Did I ruin the HCG?

I did that the first time i reconstituted my hCG and it was fine. But next time hang on to the plunger and gently allow the BW to mix up with the hCG.

Pretty sure the sticky on HCG covers the vacuum issue

Like Mickey said, it should be fine. Just use it as you would.

There are some that say the fragility of HCG is just lure and there are others that I trust who say otherwise.

Play it safe and treat it with some common sense.

It is, I was just so focused on getting the mixture right I overlooked it. Stupid mistake. Hopefully it will be ok, though.
    Thanks again!

The whole idea is know which insulin pin your are using before you begin. A .5CC pin, or a 1CC pin.

I think i may have confused you.

Drawing .10 of 1 cc on ANY slin pin is = to .10. I hope that is clear. Sorry for any confusion.

The 10 on the 100 pin will be double of the 10 on the 50 pin.

    Thanks bro. Got it

    These threads always confuse me. I use a u-100, .5cc insulin syringe. There is a - every .01 and numbers at .05, .10, .15,etc... .04 is 100 iu, correct?

Edit: the highest mark on the syringe is .5.

The #10 is 10 on any slin pin. The SIZE or VOLUME of that pin (.5 CC or 1 CC) is what determines the total AMOUNT in the pin.

    Ahhhhhh! Math!!

Ok so I do it easy. I mix 7 ml bac water to 7000 iu vial. Then I fill my u-100 1 cc insulin pin to the 25 line. Voila 250 mg of Hcg.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks. Re-reading the thread, it was the u-50 and u-100 slin pin concept that confused me. I use a u-100, so I'm dosing as I thought.

    Way too much and unnecessary.

Add 2ml Bac Water to 5000iu of lyophilized hCG and that will give you 250iu of reconstituted hCG at .10 on the slin pin.

GD has a link on this in the HRT Forums.
