Looking for cheaper Cialis
Hi all,
One of the great members here directed me some time back to a non-US prescription vendor (India, I believe) which I have been using for Cialis for some time. However, their credit card processing went defunct, and I'm not 100% confident sharing out my bank information to use their E-Check functionality. If someone could PM me a good Cialis (Tadalafil) source that takes credit cards, I'd appreciate it. I'm looking for 5 mg tablets.

I have stopped using all Indian/Overseas Pharmacy product(s) myself recently. My friend is a PhD Research Chemist @ a major US Drug Firm. In cooperation with another US Drug Firm they tested over 100 samples of both Cialis & Viagra obtained from various overseas on-line pharmacies. You can probably guess who the US Firms are. In-house testing revealed that greater than 70% of the samples contained no or under dosed levels of the Active Ingredient. What was even scarier was that some samples contained unacceptable levels of Heavy Metals & Toxins (i.e. Mercury etc.) which is a sure sign of bad manufacturing practices. Fake & under dosed ED Pills is a multibillion dollar industry these days. While this was only two products they tested, I'm a little leery of anything from overseas now. Personally, I will now try & go Rx whenever possible...

This has nothing to do with the safety or efficacy of the actual foreign drug you're purchasing via an on-line pharmacy.
While I wouldn’t agree that an absolute majority of finished dosage drugs come from overseas, it might be true for some drug classes like generics such as antibiotics or certain OTC preparations etc. However, a majority of the actual APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) contained within all drugs in the U.S. do come from overseas now.
Regardless, every finished dosage Rx (Prescription) drug and/or its generic equivalent in "legal" distribution within the U.S. come from manufacturers that have been inspected & approved by the FDA. During these inspections & approvals FDA reviews the drugs manufacturing process and its required efficacy or equivalency data to insure the drug product is safe for its intended use within the U.S. for Human or Veterinary use if applicable. FDA is also responsible for inspecting & approving the manufacturer/source of the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) that is contained within a given finished dosage drug. A simple example of an API would be Tadalafil which is the API within Cialis that provides the desired effect of the drug. The majority of U.S. finished dosage drug manufacturers (e.g. Pfizer) do not make the actual APIs contained within their drugs. These APIs are purchased from other manufacturers who in turn, must also be inspected & approved by the FDA to supply these APIs for use within finished dosage drugs. The whole drug manufacturing process is very complex by nature and not easily explained in a few paragraphs. Especially if we were to look at the Compounding Pharmacy industry which operates under a whole different set of regulations itself.
Having said this, when you order drugs from outside the U.S. there is no guarantee that the drug you are receiving is coming from an FDA approved facility. That goes for both the finished drug and the API contained within it. In fact, you have no proof where it's actually coming from. While some pharmacy sites may provide a manufacturer name for a given drug they sell, you as the consumer have no way of truly verifying this information. You can't tell if the facility actually exists or more importantly whether the drug (or the API in it) is coming from an officially inspected & approved facility that follows cGMPs (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) which are a set of manufacturing guidelines that are paramount in making drugs that are safe for human consumption. The rules & laws behind cGMP guidelines alone could probably fill more than a few books.
In the end, the safety & efficacy of the foreign drug you are purchasing over the internet cannot be verified. Sorry for the long rant, but I hope this made sense…Last edited by APIs; 04-12-2013 at 12:21 PM.
