    Rookie TRT question

OK I'm a rookie about to run my 3rd injection of test cyp. 200mg per week. The first week I felt horrible, the second week has been awesome! Tons of energy this week and just an overall feeling of well being almost a high! My question .... is this common, and does it get any better over time? After reading the stickies on the time it takes to feel the effects of test cyp. It seems pretty fast. Could this maybe just be a placebo effect that I am experiencing?

You're normal. The euphoric feeling will diminish as your system finds balance. How quickly you respond to treatment is dependant on your individual metabolism. So, whether it's actual medicinal effects or placebo is unknown. You realize I'm sure that 200mg is the high end of TRT so use caution and please monitor your bloodwork closely. Proper BW is in the stickies as well.

Thanks kel I'm actually going back in two weeks for more BW. I'm using a reputable doc but I'm definitely doing all the research I can so that I better understand what my body is doing and why. I'm very concerned as to the reason my test is so low to begin with! Thanks again kel

Exactly as you should be Petey. Problem is though your doc has started you on TRT already instead of finding the root cause and explaining it to you and examining all options! Many things can cause Low T like your are finding out. Some can be rectified without the need for TRT, which in reality should be the last resort.

Do you happen to have your last BW prior to TRT? If so, post it up and let us have at it.

Need LH & FSH. Add ranges to it when you can.

I have looked over my blood work and for the life of me I can not find the LH or FSH could it be that he didn't test me for this?

If its not included on your BW data then chances are your doc didnt test. Be sure to take in a copy of the BW sticky Kel up up that covers BW from A to Z. It's most important part of your TRT and you need to stay on top of it. Create an Excel spreadsheet and add your results for each set of BW. It make it much easier than thumbing through paper work.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if my doctor didn't have my LH and FSH levels checked on my original BW , now that I'm on trt it is too late to have this checked without coming off of my treatment?
