hcg dosing question

Ok I am confused. Brain dead really. Reconstituted my 10 ml (11000) unit vial. Rx says inject .25 ml (500iu). They gave me 100 unit syringes. I reconstituted with 5.5 ml bs water as per rx. So it is correct to draw to mid way between the 20 and 30 for .25 mls seeing as the insulin syringe is 1 ml 100 ui ? and how does that come out to 500 iu ??

Ok I think I answered my own question. Ill run this out there. The rx says 2x days before then (500iu) so does that then mean 250 iu (once/ day ) for two days before? = 500iu's ? Afte the first "loading dose" two days. It says only one day before is that from then on? I can call the dr's office but they are closed today and I am just ocd.

Regarding your first question, you are correct...

11000/5.5=2000 x .25=500iu.

I'm not sure about your second question. Sorry. Someone will chime in shortly.

ok that actually answered both questions really. Now what is the rationale behind injecting hcg 2 days before the first test injection then only one day there after? again if I am reading right.

On a once a week protocol it's the best way to maintain consistent T levels. The best bang for your buck that way. Read GD's sticky on HCG.

Not to hijack, but if you are doing 2x test IM injections per week to lower sides, HCG should be injected the day before each test cyp. injection? I do 250IU/ per injection/ week.
