Hypothyroidism ???
I was just recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am currently on Levothyroxine 75mcg ed.
While I have non of the symptoms 2 blood tests revealed my TSH at 11.5 .
I do have a hard time gaining weight which is the opposite of typical symptoms.
So I requested a full hormone panel in 3 weeks to try to get a better understanding of what's going.
I was just about to start a 12 wk Test E 250x2 with all corresponding Hcg n adex.
Now I'm back to trying to learn if my cycle will have an impact on my hypothyroidism??
I decided to wait another 3 weeks to start my cycle until after a have my blood work done.
But until then any help from members that have hypothyroidism the disorder or knowledge of it would be much appreciated.

are you sure 11.5 is the correct TSH level? I'm not trying to call you wrong, I'm double checking. I had thyroid cancer, and had my thyroid removed, now I have to take 200mcg of levothyroxine per day. Every year, for my annual scan I have to stop my levothyroxine completely, to make me severely hypothyroid to prepare for the scan. My TSH usually has to be a lot high than 11.5 before they even say I'm hypothyroid. my TSH is usually over 300 at the time of the scan, 8 weeks later. You are right about having a hard time gaining weight as opposite of the symptoms, usually, hypothyroidism causes weight gain. And the TSH is usually high. It's kind of reversed that way. TSH is Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, if you are hypothyroid, your TSH will be higher, because you are low on T3, so the body is trying harder to produce it, thus the rise in TSH. I think the diagnosis is backwards, and you are hyperthyroid, if anything. As far as Test E or Hcg having an impact on the condition, it will, in a roundabout way... it can block levothyroxine from being absorbed, thus it not working, which in turn, if gone on long enough, can cause a return with hypothyroidism.
I hope this helps!

My Dr tested my TSH twice both being in the 11's with the last being 11.5 .
My wife works wife my Dr so he got my best interest at heart.
What's crazy is I have absolutely no symptoms of Hypothyroidism.
So I was surprised when he diagnosed me that too. My Dr was caught off guard enough with it to order another blood test just to make sure.
I'm really as hyper as they come. Always on the move.
My Dr said anything above 5 for a man is above the norm.

That's odd, because I see a specialist that works specifically with thyroid disorders. An Endocronologist. I think maybe I'm looking more at the level of hypothyroidism they need me to be for my annual body scan. If your doctor says its high, that does indicate hypothyroidism. I didn't have any symptoms either, and my thyroid was dead, between the Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and the tumor on my thyroid, mine didn't work at all, then they removed it to get the cancer out. I guess wait and see what the test say. But like I said, if it does turn out positive for hypothyroidism, Test E and all that stuff, can block levothyroxine from being absorbed, then it doesn't work and eventually the hypothyroidism will flare up.
