    Primary vs Secondary

Just wanted to see if TRT is different for this. I know HCG does nothing for me for my test levels, it brings up my E2 a little but that's about it.

If you're primary HCG won't do much for you. A lot of guys who are primary already have a ton of LH but they're testicles aren't working and adding more LH won't change this.

    Are you Primary or Secondary?

Unfortunately, this does not work well with men who have primary hypogonadism, i.e. dysfunction of the Leydig cells in the testes. You can't "squeeze blood out of a turnip”.

HCG will work in boosting T levels in all secondary men. A great protocol for these guys if they only desire 1Xweek injections is to inject T on Monday. Then on day 4 and day 5 inject HCG. This gives a nice endogenous (natural T) boost in T to keep levels homeostatic throughout the week. It does work! If your not taking more than 500IU at a time. Should not affect E2 levels. Most likely its your T or increase in body fat that makes you aromatase. Thats what anastrozole is for. keep E2 between 20-30pg/ml. You can boost T levels 20% just by using anastrozole and controlling E2.

Generally you wont feel the effects of HCG. Best way to tell if it is working stage the testicles. Average size 2.5-5cm. Generally all Secondary men will have a 20-30% atrophy while on TRT without HCG.
In some men it does send there libedo through the roof also.

hcg seems great because like gels, it mirrors the natural flow of testosterone through the day

If I take HCG and my test levels go up 0 what would that make me? I took hcg 250ED before bloodwork and at day 7 I was 750 again and was the same w/o HCG. Just want to see if I even need it at this point because lots of people say it back fills this and that but I cant tell if I take it or not. Just don't want to take something for no reason.

HCG dosent work for everybody. But if your problem is just that you dont have enough LH signal to stimulate T production. Then HCG will work and boost. Again, This isnt black and white medicine, and certainly not 1 size fits all all. What works for your buddy might not work at all for you. Please guys go to well qualified A4m doctor or one that at least trains under one. You will only get yourself into trouble if you think you know how all of this works and start self diagnosing and treating. Your doctor can look at your original LH and FSH and tell if you are primary or secondary.

NO. I mean you wont actually feel the HCG when you inject it. You will of course feel the effects of your testosterone improving if in fact HCG works for you.
