It would take forever to push oil through such a small pin. I doubt you'd even be able to draw from the vial with a 29 or 30 gauge pin.

Not a good idea at all. Tes needs to be injected deeper into muscle then you'd ever reach with 5/8" pin. And right ! You would have so much trouble trying to load and unload syringe!

I draw and shoot with a 30g in my quads. Just takes a little time to draw. Pull back on the syringe to where you want to be and wait. I watch tv while it draws. Takes maybe 3 minutes. Slight pressure to shoot. Don't try to force it in. It takes maybe 20 full seconds to inject. Been doing this for about a year. I shoot twice a week. My total was 907 and free was 20 so its working for me. I know a few people doing the same with great results.

I'm not sure why the others are saying such negative things....

plenty of people here inject and shoot their testosterone via 29,30,31g/insulin needles. It doesn't change the speed whether intramuscular or subQ either.

Could you get it deep into a glute if you have high bodyfat? Probably not. But that's just one site.

I think the youtube video of Dr. Crisler doing a SQ pin in his stomach with test is likely to be with an insulin pin...

I use a 27ga 1/2" pin in both delts and glutes. No issues at all. Just load with a different tip and you're G2G. Like HRT said though, being lean is a must for IM with such a short pin.

Pfizer cyp works great with a 27g

I use 31g 5/8 needles. It takes a minute to draw. I am lean and inject in my quads where the fat layer under the skin is thin.
I inject three times a week to keep my levels more even. The small needle does less damage to the muscle.

So is a 28g 1/2" insulin needle ok for SQ shots? Wanted to try that out and picked up a few I-100 insulin syringes (50 units). What would the max does be? My dosage is 70mg.

    Yes, that 28 should work fine...or 29s, 30s and 31s.

    Not sure I'm understanding your question, but I'll try....50 units = .5cc = .5mL

If you test is the usual 200mg/mL (says on the vial)....that means there is 200mg of test for every mL.

So if you are pinning 70mg .....70/200 = .35mL and to check

    200 x .35 = 70

So 35 units on the syringe will equal 70mg of test.

Can the same size syringe/needle be used for IM as well in the delts or upper thigh? I'm around 12-15% body fat and poking a 25g 1" needle in my delt is not really on my radar (not that I'm skeerd or anything like that - hah).

I have been rotating glutes/delts with a 22g 1" needle and it is really no big deal. I really don't feel much when I do my delts, but everyone is different.

I was talking to admin awhile ago, about their HRT protocols over at LowT.com. Evidently, they administer testosterone with a slin pin. When I asked him about it, and how, given the viscosity of the oil, how long it would take to inject, say, 1/2 a ml. Come to find out, they have some type of proprietary oil they created that has almost the viscosity of water, and he said plunging 1/2ml of test through a slin pin happens quickly.

Test-E seems heavier than Test-C. I use a 21g to draw and change to a 25g 1.5" to inject. You need not go deep and I inject at 1" deep. Works fine if you remember to asperate and then go slow. No rush.

I have in a pinch use TB syringes but I change out the needle (cap is on) with a 18 g to draw and replace back the 25 g 3/4 needle that comes with it. I am a quad man myself. Levels have been great and I inject .5cc with no troubles. Just take your time pushing it through to save on the injection site pain.

I can use a 31g and inject within a couple minutes with no real fuss. This is with standard testosterone from CVS pharmacy. It used to be Watson, but I'm not sure if it still is.

It's nothing like drawing up B12 shots (water based), but it's not like I'm standing there plunging away for 5 minutes to inject a fraction of a CC .
