    AI "Over-Responder"

I read somewhere on another forum that some people on TRT may over-repond to what may seem to be low doses of AIs. I believe I had that experience recently.

    My present protocol:
    3 pumps Androgel daily
250iu hCG daily (going to 125iu daily or 250iu EOD. Would like to know opinions on this.)

I HAD been on 0.25mg anastrozole every 3-3.5 days. I just yesterday took one 0.5mg dose and I felt like I ran into a wall! Kept yawning while I was driving long distance, difficult to stay awake, and had to pull over a few times to clear my head. Very scary experience. Feeling better this morning.

This had me understand why I hadn't responded to Test cyp injections. The clinic had me on .5mg twice a week and I thought it was the shot that had me feel like crap the day of the ai and injection. Now I know it was the way my body responded to the ai dosage. My TT levels were up around 800 but I still felt no improvement. They should have known when I told them my symptoms and adjusted the dosage.

Anyway, I'm curious about other people's experiences and input on this. Thanks.

Interested to see more about this because I'm a little frustrated about not being able to dial in on my levels.. although it has only been maybe 2 months or so

This has just happened to me recently when I got on .5 mg of a-dex for a week. My libido was gone, felt just tired, had big time night sweats, my muscles were flat, and i started getting r eally bothersome joint pain as well.

I even adjusted the dosage down to .25 and it still made me feel not well.

.5 mg once a day for one week or .5mg once a week?

I think I'm just going to drop the AI for now, although I'm only taking Formexx Black I'm gonna let my estrogen levels try and level out until I get my liquidex and then go from there based on symptoms..

Wish someone could read my levels though.. :/

blast at 1000mgs?! that's more than a full cycle. this is the highest I've heard anyone take testosterone ! I hope you're doing BW every two weeks.

really? because most people when they are doing a cycle with 2 compounds far exceed 1000 mgs of aas a week. No im not doing bw every two weeks it is not necessary. I do bw every quarter and I am going tomorrow as a matter of fact

Btw what is meant by a full cycle? Kind of subjective term don't you think?

In a way, my response to this dose was sort of a blessing. If it didn't happen, I would have always thought it was the test cyp shots that I had a bad reaction to. Now I know I can take injections if I choose to in the future - and I'm seriously considering it.

Some people seem to be very sensitive to AI's. I tend to be a little sensitive. Crushing your estrogen too low is not a good feeling. I feel like a zombie, slow, thick headed, fuzziness. I personally think many people are using doses that are too big and unnecessary.

    Spartans,
From this recent experience, I agree. When I read the posts of people taking an ai every other day, I start scratching my head. I can't figure how a person can function with so little E2 in them.

    Joseph,
I'll go back to .25mg every 3.5 days. It worked very well for me. When I was dragging, it perked me right up on day three - like a couple of Red Bulls. Should have never increased the dose. And should have kept in mind that old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."!

You could be a hyper excreter or something to that nature.

For me higher doses of ai make me weak, and although my e2 levels will be in the 30s, I am still better off taking a much smaller and more frequent dose. I've dropped the ai completely now though, bw on friday.

    What is a "hyper excreter"?

What is your T protocol and ai protocol?

How were you able to drop your ai now?

AI= aromatase inhibitor (liquidex, exemastane for example). Used to control estrogen.
