Anyone know if blood banks share information?

If I wanted to donate blood more often than the 56 day recommendation would they know if I went to different ones?

if they are affiliated, yes. just call them and ask if the are, but most are not.

You would be giving someone potentially fighting for life blood that is not mature. That's why they make you wait 8 weeks in between donations. Some places will let you do a therapeutic phlebotomy(same process as donation but they destroy it). If they do not let you do this, you could call the number they provide after donation the next day and say you feel sick and must have been sick when you were in there the day before. They will pull it and destroy it.
