Estradiol at 141 after recent check

i am taking 130 mg test cyp currently up from 120 mg every 7 days. Dr. wants me to take 1 - 1mg pill of anastrozole 3 days after injection. Is it better to split up the dose or take it all at once? Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Is it 1mg anastrozole 3 days after injection or every three days?

sounds like allot of AI, maybe first one at 1mg but after that you need to cut back or you can end up in worse situation by crashing your E2.

The amount of AI you take should be based on BW. TRT-ers rarely every need 1mg or Adex. Example for you. A normal test cycle is 500mg per week. The standard amount of Adex used for this is .25 every other day. Unless your E2 is very high and he's trying to front-load and bump you down quickly I would not do this long term or even more than a couple weeks. Like Bass said, you'll crash your E. It doesn't take long then you'll have a whole host of other problems to deal with.

If you have current BW post it up. At least your Test and E2 Sensitive assay would be good to see.

Thanks for the comments. The most recent bloodwork from the dr. was just to check estradiol.

Forgot to add, previous bloodwork came back with elevated estradiol as well. It was at a 75. Dr. had me take .5 mg anastrozole on days 3 and 5 after injection for 4 weeks. Then had me stop taking it for 2 weeks before my last blood draw. Didn't make sense for me to stop for 2 weeks before checking again.

Hello, Listen carefully to what Kel says, Bass is on also. Get this right guy or you will forever regret it. You don't want Gyno and you don't want to crash that E2. Ai is a double edged sword. ...crazy mike

So you inject once per week and have estradiol levels of 141? 1mg per week, 24 hrs after your injection sounds about right, if not on the low end. I have a feeling everyone thinks you are injecting twice per week and plan to take 2mg arimidex per week, but I don't believe this is the case, right?

To give you an idea, my estradiol levels were in the 70's and I take .5mg 24hrs after each injection, so 1mg total per week.

Your original protocol could have been fine but the test results were skewed since he had you stop the arimidex 2 weeks prior to labs, thus your levels spiked with the last 2 test injections.

Only one injection per week. Dr had me taking .5 mg twice weekly- on day 3 and 5 after injection after last bw showed elevated estradiol. 4 weeks taking it then be wanted me to stop taking it for 2 weeks before last bw. Don't understand why he would have me stop taking it.

Too bad he had you stop, you might have been all dialed in, I'd maybe go back to that and do BW in a month if everything goes fine.

Thx for all the comments. I might order my own bw after 4 weeks. Is it better to take .5 mg on day 3 and 5 after injection or say 1 and 3 days after injection?
