How quick does an ai work?

My e2 was 47 i think and i took .25 mg anastrozole last night and have been crazy horny all day. Probably just a coincidence right?

It works very quickly for me as well. I could tell within 24 hours.

it "works" within hours... what you might notice could take longer if you ever notice it. it really depends on the person, the dose, and their starting point.

I notice gyno relief the next day back when I was trying to find the right dose for me.

I take .25mg every three days. I notice the effect in about 45 - 90 minutes. It's amazing. My body tells me when I need it like clock work and it's every 3 days.

I've thought of that too. I took .25mg around 10:30 this morning. I had blood work done around 1:00 p.m. When I get the results, I'll let you know what it says.

On a side note, I've never experienced anything so medically dramatic. One moment I'm shaking the fog out of my head and a little while later I'm as sharp as a razor.

I notice nothing from taking a dose of anastrozole, but if I don't take it I notice I start to look like a young girl going throguh puberty with my perky nipples lol.

oh it was just a random thought really. that for you to have such a noticeable reaction to a single dose of AI that it makes me wonder if your body is borderline too high (for your own body's "set point").

really just a tangential thought .

It's a good thought. Since I've been on ai's my e number on the sensitive assay has been hovering at <20 for Lenco, a local lab (no range indicated). Last time for Quest I had it at 17. Range: <OR=29 pg/mL So it seems I'm doing okay according to the numbers, anyway.

FWIW, when I first started shots the PA who was handling my case said I was an "E converter" - easily and rapidly converted T to E.

Another observation - not subjective at all - and again, quite dramatic: About an hour after my ai dose, I start peeing a good deal. I'm not a heavyweight; 145lbs, 5'6' and I know when I'm retaining fluids. The ai dose has an almost immediate effect on releasing the excess fluids I've retained because of elevated E2.

How is your body telling you? Nipple sensativity, cloudy head, bloating, combo? Think my body has been sending me these signals the last few days, need to go get this checked out.

I have never experienced nipple issues - ever. (Sounds strange. :-) But foggy head, fatigue, decrease in libido and genital sensitivity, and fluid retention - in my own way. Again, I'm a relative light weight - 145lbs and 5'6" - but when my gut starts to distend, I know what's happening.
