    My TRT story

Hello, new here with a ton to learn, here is my story.

I'm 35 years old, a few years ago I got a vasectomy since I decided I was done having children. After I healed from the surgery I ended up with sack pain and engorgement, from what I understand basically the stuff had no place to go so it "backed up" and became engorged on occasion. Over a period of about a year the pain slowly went away.

After the pain was gone I lost EQ and morning erections, I'm overweight by a bit (not a lot) and didn't think anything of it, thought it was a combination of job stress, overweight, out of shape and just getting a little older.

Then it was a continual downhill slide, to the point of suicidal thoughts, every day was just a drag and everything I did was just by routine, all of the things that used to bring me joy just didn't anymore. This is not like me and doesn't fit my personality so I knew something was wrong, I figured it had to be because of my health so I started hitting the gym. I've been built up pretty good in the past and I remember feeling good so it had to be the fix.

After a few months of working out, there was no change, no gains, and I couldn't get that good pump going at all in the gym even with creatine and other pre workout boosters like NOS explode etc. No change in mental state (still had fine libido through all of this) so at this point I decided I needed professional help, my brain was telling me "something isn't right, this is all wrong, something is wrong"

I went to the doctor, told them everything that was up and said I want a complete workup, if something can be tested I wanted it tested, everything, so they did.

    Findings?

HDL is a bit on the low but not bad, LDL is a bit on the high side but not bad yet, and my T was low, 300, and free test was very low. We went over my treatment options, I ended up going the needle route (I used to be completely scared to death of needles but I'd eat glass if that is what it took to fix me).

wow, TRT gave me my life back, low T is no joke

I was doing 100mg per week and after six weeks my levels came up to like 400 and free test came up but it was still low, doctor said bump it to 200mg per week, so I did.

During that period I could feel the test spike and my skin was horrible (I've always had acne issues even when my T was low, been this way my entire life) and I asked the doctor if I could split the shot to twice a week so it wouldn't spike so much in one dose, they said sure.

Next test, my test was 900 with free test WAY high and my red blood cell was 54, yikes

I cut back to 150 mg per week spilt between two shots, 10 weeks later my red cell count is 52, test is over 800 and free test is still high, I did some research and I believe the big difference wasn't the amount I'm taking, but more about me injecting twice per week instead of once per week.

I've backed down to 100mg per week (50mg twice per week) and plan on going in 6 weeks for another blood check, but I'm thinking about skipping my first injection of the week to help things calm down a little quicker.

Due to my lack of fear of needles now, my love for the gym, and the boost I have felt from this I'm wanting to explore things a bit further (after I get my current blood counts under control of course).

I've done plenty of reading but I'm still very ignorant about all of this stuff, but my understanding is the higher the red blood cell count, the thicker your blood, when it gets too high (55 and up) it's dangerous, 58+ is bad for your heart, do some people damage their hearts on roids due to the red cell count being too high for too long?

What should ones test levels be to start building lots of muscle, and how does one avoid the issues of like the red blood cell counts, is this why people cycle? get the test up real high fast for a short duration and then bring it back down before the red cell count shoots up?

Great story I have had several of ur problems. Give blood tht will fix ur problem wth RBC! Don't cycle stay the course for at least a year. Get in the nutrition forum and in the supplement forum I highly recomend reading Austinites supplementation protocol. I don't have to take everything listed but u can find wht works for u! Diet is the key to the city! U must follow a very clean eating lifestyle. Also 3mgs of Cialis twice a day is the best course ever!
